My boys have loved the B. toys -- the dog guitar and cat keyboard -- so it was a no brainer to buy this for the 3 yo's birthday. He loves it. It's an ingenious toy that educates in so many different ways --shapes, colors, easy-to-read words, classical music, classic childrens' songs. You can pick and choose which instruments to "bring in" which makes the options endless. And while the 3 yo is experimenting with all the different sounds, the 15-month old is busy dancing to all the music. This is a toy that is well worth the price! Can't wait to gift this toy to all my toddler friends!

[...] The shape of the toy allows very young children to enjoy it during tummy time. I also see the value in learning instrument names and classifications, colors, and shapes. I'm an elementary school teacher and I'm planning to take this toy to work to show the music teacher, ESL, and preschool through 1st grade teachers. I see a lot of possibilities for this toy. I just hope it's drool resistant! To the one star reviewer, after opening the toy, there's a plastic tab that must be pulled out at the on/off switch to allow it to be used in "play" mode.
I bought this for my kiddos and the entire family including the grown ups are enjoying this to the fullest! We can create our own sounds and its educational too. The kids are learning what the different instruments sound like. Very cool toy! HIGHLY recommend this for gifting.
Everyone at our house loves this toy! We've started calling it the 'dinner party' toy because every time we have people over for dinner, we spend the whole night playing the Symphony.
My kids, 4 and 1.5 years, have been playing with this most of the day. They both can't wait for their turn. Adults have really enjoyed playing with it too. It is very informative and a great learning toy - colors, shapes, instrument names, instrument sounds, and instrument grouping. I love this toy and would highly recommend it. I plan on purchasing it for several of the kids friends as gifts.
It is rare to find a toy which enthralls all four of my kids now that they're a little older and the older one doesn't like what the youngest ones like. But this toy has had all four kids taking turns. The older one called it "sick"!! And while they're playing together, they're listening to what I would call "rad" music -- so much better than what the radio plays!! Thanks so very much for this unique, special, wonderful toy!!!!

We love this toy. I bought this for my 9month old even though the manufacturer recommends 3 and up. I took my time on deciding whether or not to buy it and I am glad that I did. The pieces are not small enough to be a choking hazard and for a baby that loves lights and music this is the best toy ! I needed a toy that would keep my very mobile baby interested long enough to get dishes washed, house picked up, etc. I could not have found a better toy than this ! He loves playing with the instrume nts because they are very soft and though he does chew on them I don't mind because I could not find a ring or any other toy he would chew on while teething. The sound quality on this toy is amazing and better than I expected. It can be as loud or as quiet as you would like. It's perfect for educational values. You can teach colors , shapes, instruments , etc. We will enjoy this toy for a long time. B is our new favorite brand. Best price I have found is here at Target.
