Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not Recommend!!!! This car seat is extremely heavy!!! I am a petite female and can barely carry it with my newborn in it. I'm sure I wont be able to lift it once she gains a few pounds. Also, the stroller does not stay closed completely. It opens about 12 inches even when locked into place. It's very inconvenient and hard to handle. I definitely do not recommend this product!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Piece of Garbage Terrible installation, I still don't know how to put in the car seat correctly without a base. It is absolute garbage, counterintuitive, idiotic product, nothing snaps in, thousands of straps, latches, belts with no real purpose other than to annoy. DON"T BUY THIS GARBAGE!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice set. Recieved as a gift earlier this year. It's perfect. No problems. It's unisex and the pattern reminds me of atoms lol.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from HORRIBLE CHEAP DESIGN! First of all giving this one star is being nice. This system though it is a carrier car seat stroller combo which should be design for an infant from newborn and up IS NOT! I bought this early to be prepared for when my daughter was born or I would have returned this, but now its to late. First thing i noticed was the head support was worthless, not a big deal we purchases a better one. When we first snapped the carrier into the base with our newborn in it to leave the hospital her little head flopped forward instantly. Yes it was installed properly, but they obviously DID NOT test this system with a NEWBORN that has yet to develop there neck muscles. The car seat set WAY to upright for a newborn even at its most reclined position. We had to purchase a head support w/ a neck support (pillow) to hold her head up. And again when you snap the car seat onto the stroller it is positioned way to far forward for a newborns head. I was also disappointed that the stroller does not recline all the way back to a flat sleeping position which would be better again for a newborn. When you fold the stroller up it is held closed with a cheap red plastic arm that doesn't hold the stroller folded compactly as a matter of fact it won't even stay closed so you have to hold the thing together just to pick it up in the folded position. Even if it did stay compactly folded the basket on the bottom doesn't fold in with the stroller and sticks out at an awkward position so that its in the way. The material that the seat and stroller is made out of is slick vinyl while this is good for wiping up, it is terribly hot, doesn't breath and makes your little one sweat terribly. So far the wheels have held up but they are very cheaply made so I hope they last. My daughter is only 6 weeks old so if there are other problems I'm sure I will run across them in time. If I had the money I would just go buy a new system. Spend and little more and get a better set you won't be sorry. As a matter of fact just stay away from baby trend brand systems. They all seam to be made the same. I am so disappointed I don't think I will ever purchase another Baby Trend product!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Uncomfortable seat This travel system was fine for the price and got the job done. However, once baby was old enough to be able to show me that it was uncomfortable, id already had him in it for nine months. He started squirming all of a sudden and not wanting to go for strolls, which was one of his favorite things to do. My mother is very observant and felt the seat of the stroller and noticed really uncomfortable bars underneath with no padding. I felt so bad and hope they fix this before any more babies have to ride around with a hard bar under their behind.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from USER FRIENDLY For the price you get a great quality product. I have the entire collection and I just love it. Everything you need to: adjust, snap, release is in the color RED. MAKING IT SO EASY TO USE!! For the practical Mom or Dad.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from a good travel system We went with a Baby Trend travel system over other brands because it had a slightly higher max weight limit for the car seat than other brands. All the pieces fit together very nicely and we were pleased with this product. The car seat has a nicely shaped handle that makes it a bit easier to carry than other infant car seats. We ended up not keeping it though because we decided to go with a convertible car seat.

What it is
This simple travel system is a fabulous option for moms on a budget. Once your baby graduates from the cocoon of the infant seat, the cushy stroller seat provides a sweet ride over smooth terrain such as the sidewalk or shopping center. (Anything more rugged might to chew up  the relatively small wheels.) The roomy basket underneath allows you to bring along everything you might need – and can actually accommodate your overstuffed diaper bag! The seat fabric is remarkably easy to clean. The push bar adjusts swiftly, and there's a double cup holder console for thirsty parents.

What to watch out for
The one-handed release button sometimes takes some finessing and jiggling, as does collapsing the stroller. (You also have to bend over to lock it in its folded position.) When the car seat is installed, it sits very upright, so the smallest, sleepiest heads may tip forward.
