I didn't realize what I was passing by with this dual sided loofah/exfoliator, until I finally decided to try it and it was exactly what I had been looking for! the dual texture is helpful since it is a pain to have multiple loofahs for multiple skin areas that do/do not need exfoliation. The "hand sling" that covered part of the exfoliating surface was in the way, so I just cut it off and then it was perfect! It needed to be replaced every few months, but I was looking forward to getting a new one last month and now NONE of the stores in my area are carrying it anymore! the other loofahs offered are single-purpose only, so now I waste more time in the shower, which really bugs me. Those exfoliating gloves are nice but a pain to put on/take off. I hope they are not phasing this dual surface loofah out completely, Please bring it back! I haven't seen one anywhere else like it.

I purchased this item thinking that I would get a lot of use out of it. I prefer durable sponges that last between 4 to 5 months, but this one only lasted 1 month. The exfoliating side's was ineffective, the top layer bunched-up and formed large pieces of lint. Also, the sponge side was too soft and I had to place a lot of effort in cleaning when using that side. Like Sondra, I also cut the elastic part, since I didn't find it useful. Sondra, if you're looking for this sponge, the San J ose Silvercreek location may have more as I picked up mine there. Other San Jose locations may carry them as well. I have 3 suggestions. 1. Make the exfoliating side more durable, while making the sponge side fuller. 2. Remove the elastic band on the exfoliating side. 3. Make the loop at the top of the sponge longer so it can be placed on a hook with more ease. I rated fragrance as 2 stars to be consistent with the overall rating, but this sponge does not have any fragrance.
