Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheap quality, bad coffee Glad some other consumers could give this thing 5-stars. Owned mine 3 whole days, too long. Discovered the bottom and 2 side areas, leaked. Plunger almost broke, my 2nd attempt at enjoying a morning brew. Glad I paid only $11; goes to show, you get what you pay for.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from My tiny Bodum Brazil french press Purchased this yesterday and used this morning. Followed directions and you would think you should get 3 cups of 4 oz coffee. Well, I had about 2 inches in my mug and thought wow, so measured and only had 1 8 oz cup of coffee that was very strong,. I was expecting a full 12 oz of coffee. But it is what it is and next time I will use less coffee as it was very strong. Hindsight is always better and I should have bought the 8 cup.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Broke with first use I have used this exact same type press before and loved it. I decided to buy one for myself and after using it once the black plastic piece around the plunger broke off.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from broke within a month I got this to replace an older version I had. I was removing the top from the coffee holder and a large piece of glass broke right off, I'm assuming from the tight fit and the pressure? Really bummed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect french press for one I bought this because my old larger one wore out. Decided to go with a smaller one. Makes perfect coffee. The quality of the crema is wonderful. Keep in mind it makes true coffee cup sized proportions. Note: As I was in a time crunch, I used in store pick up and it was a breeze!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for one cup It may make three cups, but don't confuse "cups" with mugs. If you are used to the typical coffee cup served in most restaurants, you will be disappointed at the size. Go for the larger size unit instead.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect size for a perfect cup of coffee I kind of laughed when I saw the one star review complaining about the size of the cup of coffee this press produces..Only in America is a 24 oz cup of coffee considered a single serving. I have a 12 ounce coffee mug. I use a moderate amount of powdered creamer or half and half. My routine: I put two scoops of coffee into the press. I add enough water to fill the press to the point where the filter will fit without causing any spill. I give the contents a good stir. Five minutes later I press the filter down and pour the coffee into my 12 ounce cup. Perfect fit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brazil Press This is a **Brazil** press, so yes, it's smaller than a typical French press. They drink smaller coffees in Brazil. The size information is in the name 'Brazil'. Works great!
