Bunn 10-cup Coffeemaker - Black (BXB) is rated 4.12 out of 5 by 25.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Coffeepot I've only had this coffeepot for a few weeks, but so far it's been great. I really wanted something with as little plastic touching what I'd be drinking as possible, so the fact that the water is stored and heated in a stainless steel pot is what attracted me to this Bunn model. It really does make coffee super quickly! I usually only make about 4 cups and it works just fine for that. The only possible complaint I have is that this coffeemaker has a strong plastic/chemical smell for the first few weeks after opening. I'm pregnant so it might be an exaggerated "new product" smell but I am really worried about toxins and I always wonder if that smell is a bad sign... other than that, I have no complaints!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't buy it Awkward machine. No timer, there it's no way to know when the water tank is full, no pause button. And frankly the coffee is no hotter or quicker than many other machines with more user friendly features.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good choice I have this at a second home and know that water needs to stay hot to brew great coffee. I was concerned about figuring out the set up, but breezed right through following the directions. The coffee is brewed in the time it takes to say, "coffee is ready." It's a great coffee pot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Coffeemaker Ever! After owning several coffeemakers that disappointed us or were too complex to use, my husband and I couldn't be happier with this coffee maker. My parents have used Bunn for decades, and will never use anything else,[...] it's the best! It is easy to use, and SO fast! I used to have to set my coffee pot to begin brewing coffee 30 minutes before I got up, so it would be ready. This takes less than a minute for a cup worth, and just a few short minutes for the whole pot. This is by far one of the best things we bought with the money we got from our wedding. I would wholeheartedly recommend this product to anyone whether they drink coffee all day every day, or just a cup or two on occasion.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Weak coffee Like the the previous reviewer said, this thing makes weak coffee. I too only wanted the minimum amount. I followed the directions closely and still got extremely weak coffee. I used 3 different kinds of coffee just to see if I was imagining it. The problem is that the water is pre-heated and pours through the filter too quickly to catch the grounds. You have to use twice as much coffee. No thanksAlso, the water has to be pre-heated, meaning the water heater has to be on 24/7 or you need to give it 15 minutes to warm up. The heater uses 800-watts. I hope you have cheap electricity where you live.I'm returning it, worthless.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Flawed Design I have owned Bunn coffee makers for about 30 years and have always been extremely happy with their perforamance. This model unfortunately has a significant problem. For the first year or two it will work magificantly. But due to a problem in the design the heat from the holding tank causes the upper holding tank to decay and crumble. The result is that what at first is a mildly annoying small water leak eventually becomes a leak large enough that you wind up with a quarter to half a pot of water on the counter. Bunn does not sell the repair part and paching does not produce good results. ........ has several pages of comments about this product. If you think that for this price you should only get about 2 or 3 years of use, this is definitly the best coffee pot you can buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Made in the USA I can't believe that I can still buy a coffee maker made by fellow Americans. At Target of all places. This coffee maker is used to provide warm cups of goodness for a big family. The water is warm in a holding tank before you start. Add the grounds, pour in cold water, and the warm water in the tank makes a pot very quickly. If it breaks, Bunn will send free parts. DID I MENTION THAT IT IS MADE IN THE COUNTRY IN WHICH WE LIVE. MADE HERE IN THE USA, and I don't mean Usa, China. These United States.
