The eeSilk is comparable in weight to traditional rigid seatposts while offering 20mm of vertical compliance, improving control on rough surfaces and reducing fatigue on long rides. These posts make great enhancements to endurance road bikes by reducing the chatter transmitted from the surface to the rider. Post can be tuned to rider weight through a simple elastomer change. A Cane Creek #5 elastomer comes pre-installed, other weight elastomers sold separately. eeSilk features Cane Creek's proven parallel linkage technology to help reduce vibration and pain. The post is crafted from lightweight aluminum, while the linkage is made with forged and machined aluminum arms and stainless steel solid pins with IGUS bushings. 375mm seatpost features a 275mm max extension and 70mm min extension. 20mm of vertical compliance (travel). 250lb rider weight limit.
