I have very very little knowledge of using an SLR camera but I love photography and want to learn more about it. Got the Canon Rebel T3i and it's the BEST! All I have is the 18-55mm lense and it takes wonderful pictures!! Wish I could upload an example The color of each picture is so vibrant and each picture is so clear. Truly recommend it!!

This Camera is one of my all time favorite cameras, it may be a little on the pricey side but other than that this camera is great for taking pictures with its 18 mega-pixel lens. This camera is not to good at taking video. If you are going to buy this camera I would suggest buying it only for taking pictures. The Canon Rebel T3i is a wonderful camera and well worth the money. I may mention that this camera costs roughly [$] Which some may not be willing to spend on a camera, but if you have th e money its well worth it!

I think its important for some adults or teens getting into photography that this review is coming from a 17 year old. I got this camera for my 17th birthday and I am in heaven. For a year previous, I had the Canon Rebel XS, and this is a huge step up. 18 megapixels and 6400 ISO should put your limits at least to the sky. I am not terribly impressed at the build quality, but I took this for a month straight across the Chugach Mountains in Alaska and it lasted perfectly. I love this camera and I 'm so glad I began with it.

The T3i is a powerhouse! I am a film maker and have shot professional music videos and documentaries with this camera. The flip screen makes it stand way above it's class in handling, and you can always get the angle you want while being relatively comfortable and able to pull focus!! The battery life is great, I don't know why thats a con.

I have had my T3i for a year now. It has yet to fail me. I recently purchased a 70-300 is usm lens. I took the camera to the Nashville Predators hockey game a few weeks ago with my new lens. Did not use the flash, handheld and the photos are stunning. Even when shown on a 50" plasma they are incredible. I very seldom use the lcd except to review photos so my battery life is superb. I have friends that are amazed at the quality. I gave a black and white photo enlarged to 30"x40" of an old barn t o a friend of mine and he was amazed there was no pixilation. Truly amazing tool when you take the time to learn all of its features.

This is my first DLSR and it can seem very overwelming to understand everything that it does. Dont worry there is alot of You Tube videos on how to use it and what everything means. If this is your first DSLR at first your going to think OMG but just take your time with it. There is no way you will figure it out in couple hours. It will take you months. ::)) That is the fun of too. The OS software if very easy to understand once it is explained to you. This new display Looks very very nice. Hav e Fun with the number 1 rated camera out there today for 2012.

This is an amazing camera. I have owned a Canon Digital Rebel for 7 years and got this one, it is awesome. I am a pro now! It is amazing the quality that comes from this camera, I have no professional experience, but this makes me look like a pro, and I am impressed with how this camera knows exactly what do do, and the conditions by detection to shoot. I would recommend it to any parent! I want to take photos everywhere I go now!

I use this camera mainly for video. It appealed to me because of its price, high ISO and full HD video. I will be using this camera until college (I'm in high-school). The next level up from this is a professional video camera. Definitely recommend this buy!

I upgraded from my first DSLR, Canon T3. You may think they are the same cameras but they are more different than you know. Better sensor and more megapixels. better build, better SD card placement, better LCD and screen that can tilt and not to mention that the image quality is better. As far as the movie mode I can't speak on this cause its not a camcorder in my eyes not that it can't do it, Just that i didn't buy this to take movies. But would recommend this to anyone looking for a solid DSL R and know that this product will out last the period you will own it.

My pictures look so professional you would never know I was a beginner. The flip screen is awesome. The way you can go from 1 picture on the screen to 9 is excellent. You can look at them and delete long before you get home. The battery lasted longer than I expected. The speed in which it can take a picture is very impressive. The quality and features are great. It is light weight and easy to carry alone or in a case. I am very happy with my Rebel T3i. Can't wait to see what else it can do. It is easy to use. It doesn't have a lot of buttons, it's just simple and straight to the point. Practically point and shoot.
