Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good Grille For the price we paid I'd say a good value after shopping around for a few days. Target delivers us the shipping box upside down though the outside of the box clearly stated which direction the container should be set. Took a while to find the fastening hardware - located in one of the boxes that wasn't clear'y labelled. Once I found the screws, it went together fairly easily while following the picture displays. The instruction displays show part numbers but I could't see where the part numbers were labeled. The grille sheet metal is thin - bends fairly easily, but once put together it seems solid. The grille for the side burner came bent and porcelain coating chipped off at the bend. Let's see how customer service handles this. Did a good job cooking pork chops. So I'd say good value overall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great buy! Got this grill at a special price from our local independent hardware store. Thought it might be more grill than we needed (only 2 of us), but the price was right and we needed a new grill. We have been so pleased!! The sear burner is amazing and all that extra space keeps me from crowding the food. Really glad we got this one!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent at first, but build quality suffers Overall I am satisfied with my purchase of this Char-Broil grill, especially since we got it for a nice sale price. It has been experience problems as time moved on, unfortunately, but nothing too big. Char-Broil has been mostly great at customer service, but charging 5x as much in shipping as a tiny replacement part "because we charge a flat rate for shipping" is asinine. Yes, it would benefit you if something very large breaks...but if something small breaks, you get the short end of the stick, and that's been my experience so far. Good product, at least until things start breaking. 1 year warranty is not long enough for the build quality unfortunately. :( Cooks great most of the time though!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from You Asked Me To Write a Review Good points: Does low-and-slow barbecue very well. Seems built well. Bad Points: You still can't beat charcoal for fast grilling of steaks, chops and roasts. Can't control flare-ups by choking off air as you can on a charcoal grill. Warming rack worthless - gets I the way and there's no room to put stuff on it and close the lid!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just ok. Big grilling area. Not bad for price paid. The first set of grates died fairly quickly. Also the side burner flame holes expanded to the point where it burned sooty. Both parts were replaced under warranty. I'd recommend getting a backup side burner if ordering any parts since there's a one-price shipping policy. The sear burner could be hotter. It's just a bigger steel burner, not the ceramic type which gets very hot. Overall a good grill, but I don't expect to get a lot of years out of it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT GRILL FOR THE PRICE AMAZING VALUE, IMHO, VERY WELL PACKAGED AND EASY TO ASSEMBLE. SHOULD LAST LONGER THAN MY LAST BARGAIN GRILL WHICH WAS NOT SS. GREAT FEATURES. I LIKE THIS GRILL SO MUCH THAT I BOUGHT ONE FOR MY FRIEND WHO NEEDED ONE BADLY.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the money So today I got my new Charbroil for Father's Day. My old Charbroil was five years old and served me well. I used it at least once every week and abused it by not cleaning a lot. It is a piece of trash now. I did cover it which apparently was a mistake. The way I look at it is that my old grill owed me nothing. For the $300.00 I paid for it I got a bargain. My new one cost $300.00 and the technology is much improved and if it will last five years I will be happy. Get real, people, you will spend $30,000.00 for a car and ditch it in less than five years with no complaints and get a new one. This is nothing you are going to pass on to your children. Get this grill and enjoy it for what it is. It cooks great and looks good. I will add that I had to put it together. It occupied my time while I watch a NASCAR race. If you are not handy, buy it assembled.
