Clairol Nice N Easy Perfect 10 - Light Chocolate Brown product details page

Light Chocolate Brown became Dark Plum Brown. My hair resulted with a DARK cherry/plum reflective color I was NOT looking for. I was told Perfect10 was a perfect match to Natural hair color. I have never met anyone with natural plum/dark cherry color.

I had medium brown hair and this gave my hair a pink voilet tint to it, but said nothing about it on the box. It also turned the gloves purple!!!

Love this shade and searched at stores. Will be buying on line. Closest to my natural shade and dimensional colors and loved it.

I Read the reviews about it turning out too dark and went right out and bought it! I have naturally dark brown hair so it was perfect for me. I found that the color on the box more closely matches the Light Golden Brown better, in my experience. I applied the color on the back before applying it on the top as it is more porus and will absorb color more. I didn't want it to come out too dark on top. I applied the supplied condition with Olive Oil and let it sit for 1 hr before rinsing it out. B eautiful!

I wish I would have read these reviews before buying this color. I am trying to find a color with NO red! Although this color covered and is pretty, there is red in it and the title doesnt say anything about red. It is dark but my hair sometimes is dark and then lightens up within a week. I need to know what color to use that I wont end up with red hair. Can anyone help?

I have bought this product before and I remembered being happy with it. So I bought it again because I wanted to cover my gray hair. I was excited to have a different color and for my grays to be covered but after I washed it out the color was not what I was expecting and my my grays were not covered. I'm hoping I got a bad batch but am not sure if I want to spend my money again.

After struggling to cover my Sun-In bleached blonde hair for months, I came across this dye and tried it. It totally covered the blonde that was left over and the blonde didn't start to show until maybe 5 or 6 weeks after I applied it. It did fade throughout that time but I also started shampooing my hair again daily after a few weeks so I think that had a lot to do with it. As others have mentioned, it does come out much darker than you expect by looking at the box and there is a lot of red i n it for a warm-neutral color buuuut I really enjoy the red. I was going to buy one of the red shades but was totally happy that I got my dark brown and my red all in one box! I hope Clairol doesn't change the color itself in response to these comments because I LOVE the color -- maybe a change in name and labeling is appropriate as long as we still know that it's this shade under a different name! Other than that, if I listed all the things I do to my hair you'd imagine that I'd have the driest hair in the world but surprisingly, after using this dye my hair is softer than when I started. I straighten and blow dry my hair directly after using it and, unlike other dyeing experiences, it doesn't fry my hair or take away any of the softness. My hair's also the shiniest it's ever been; even after the color itself has faded a lot the shine is still there which is a plus. Overall, I'd recommend this brand and color to everyone!

I positively LOVE this product. I have used a couple different shades of Perfect 10 and I think I have finally settled in on Nonstop Chocolate. I used to be a Mocalotive girl, but now I'm a convert. I had made a trip to the salon to ask for a chocolate brown color but didn't have the time to get it done that day after my haircut. I was impatient and decided to check out the Perfect 10 selection since I'd been fairly pleased with Mocalotive. I have read a ton of reviews on here stating that this color turned out darker than expected. I think if you hold your hair up to the box, it's actually pretty close. Mine is a couple shades darker than the picture on the top of the box but pretty spot on with the picture on the front. It does start to fade after about a week. I don't wash my hair daily as it strips easily so my color tends to last a bit longer. It's naturally a sort of ordinary medium brown color with a touch of blonde and red in the sun. Nonstop Chocolate gives me the deep, rich color I wish I had naturally and also covers my grays! Rock on with your brunette selves, ladies! If it's a couple shades darker for a week or two, embrace it!!! I would definitely recommend this shade and product. My mom was spending far too much at the salon for her color. She lets me do it at home now with Perfect 10 and she loves the way it leaves her hair. The Color Seal conditioner is pretty heavy for my hair, but after my next wash, I'm good as new again.

yes the color is dark when you dye it at first, but dont all hair coloring products do that? The color does come out looking a dark mohagany/burgandy color for the first week or two, but after the color starts to set in, it comes out just like the color shown, (depending on your pre dye hair color of course) overall tho the color is very pretty if your patient with having dark hair for a couple weeks

If you use this product be on notice this color turns beyond dark, I look like I have a dark cherry chocolate color with pink roots..... Now I have to wait 48 hours to tone down the color. There is nothing on the box stating it would turn red. Use a much lighter color, I could have used a light blond to get the shade I had wanted. So watch out when choosing a shade.
