I'm not sure why other reviewers said that the instructions were no good. I found them very easy to follow. I'm a girl and it took me 45 mins to put together. All u need is a phillips screwdriver or electric screwdriver and a hammer. I love it so much I am going to buy another one and put in my bedroom. The other one is set up in my dining room. Love the fabric drawers for this too.

Excellent little bookcase/shelf for the amount you pay. We have ours sitting against the wall and did not put in any of the "backs" because they look cheap but the unit itself looks very clean, was easy to assemble, and holds a 20 gallon tank on it with no problem! We bought another to hold all of our movies and games because we were so happy with the first one.

I bought this because I live in a one bed on bath condo and need more storage space I have it in between my desk and couch I use it as a divider and to put all those extra things that don't have anywhere else to go.. It l ooks nice as all the other furniture I have is dark expresso or black. It is just enough for all the odds and ends.I put it together in a half and hour no problem

I saw this online and thought it looked nice and would be perfect storage for kid toys. I bought two of them online for convenience. Arrived quickly, but that's the only plus in this review. Opened 1 box, shelves were dinged and the parts bag had ripped open from a screw tearing a hole in it. One of the wooden dowels was snapped in half, too. Opened 2nd box to exchange out dinged shelves and they were in worse shape than 1st box. Returning these ASAP in hopes that the in-store items won't be so torn up from shipment.

Made of compressed sawdust. Holes don't line up. Finish chipped and cracked. Not worth buying or returning. Gas and time to return is worth more than this pile of junk.

I buy a lot of things from Target and really appreciate the quality I can get for the price, but that was not the case with this item. It was in an undamaged box, completely sealed with plastic packaging around the outside and yet still, it was in awful shape on the inside. The hole for the dowels were chipped so noticeably that I would not put the cabinet where anyone would see it. In addition, along a "finished" edge there was a deep scratch all along it that looked like it had been sliced into with a box cutter, but clearly could only have been done before it was put in the box since the box was perfect. Very frustrating. Awful quality. If this is going in a closet or someplace hidden, it's great, but don't expect to put it where it would be seen by anyone.

I purchased this for my living room/play room to hold all my 3 1/2 yr old son's trains, tracks, cars, and race tracks - you know, all those little toys that end up all over the house!. [...] I purchased this on sale and felt it was very worth the price. Of course this piece is made of pressed wood so there were a few little chips on the wood but as I built it I choose the chipped pieces to line up in the back so no one would see them. I chose the espresso colored 6-cubicle piece and it has s ome faint wood grain lines that make this piece look a little less cheap, the espresso matches my dark furniture great! I highly recommend this piece for storage!

I bought this intending to use it in my living room, but it seemed too big once in place, so I put it in my daughter's room instead. It matches well with her espresso crib and dresser. This cubiecal organizer was so easy to put together! I did it myself in only 20 minutes. It's strong and sturdy and not bad to look at, once you cover the screws with the screw caps! I love the variety of cube bins you can buy to go in it. She will use it as a book shelf / toy shelf once we secure it to the wall.

I knit, and I buy way too much yarn. While on an organizing spree I decided I needed something where I could actually see how much yarn I had. Hopefully to deter me from buying more, this did not happen. BUT, my yarn is out, it looks pretty, and I saved one cubby for all my knitting books. Perfect size for what I needed, and space for more yarn even!

Don't attempt to put this together on a Friday night after a long week at work. It is a fairly simple process to put together, but I kept spacing out and forgetting to have the finished sides all face the same way! So it took me an hour and a half as opposed to 30 minutes to complete it. I like how much less space it takes up than my old tv stand and is much more modern. Go for the 9 if you want a lot of storage space, I kind of wish I had but was unsure if it would be too much.
