Conair Curl Innovation Hair Curlers is rated 2.6 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from What a disappointment I would consider my hair pretty easy to work with. However, using the curling iron takes time because I have many layers and long hair. I tried the rollers and allowed them to completely cool before taking them out. The rollers gave my hair some body but did not resemble a curl. Also, the clips gave my hair horrible kinks in very obvious places, so I would have had to go back over it with a curling iron or a flat iron even if the rollers worked in the first place. Taking them back.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Really??? NO ON/OFF SWITCH??? Has to be plugged in and unplugged each time its used? Not in my world - returned!! I understand the safety issue - with a switch turned off there is current while curlers are plugged into power outlet. I don't have time or desire to plug and unplug at each use. There has to be a better way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hot Rollers Love, love, love this. It's a little big, but worth it because it keeps everything together and in one place. No more worries about loosing clips at home or when traveling.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not work on thick hair! I bought this hoping I could save some time in the morning curling my hair. I have very thick course hair so curling it takes forever. Unfortunately this product did VERY little for my hair. I thought maybe I didn't wait long enough for it to heat up. So the next time I waited longer but still little to none results. The only thing that it did was flip the ends of my hair either under or out. Added no curl whats so ever. I think possible this would be best for people with thin hair. Will be returning. =(

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Will be returning back to the store I have long hair and have used hot curlers for many years. The unit is generally well made, but has some design flaws that are deal breakers: - The main problem are the clips, which do not hold well. All curlers loosened so there was a least 6 inches between my scalp and curler, plus several curlers completely fell out and had to be rerolled. - The clips also limit how much hair you can put on a curler, - I could not get any curler to stay put in a vertical orientation. - There were some slight creases left in my hair from the clips. - Unfortunately, I think stronger clips would leave more noticeable crimps and creases. I prefer a simple "bobby pin" type mechanism to hold the curler. - Instead of using headed posts, the curlers have slits through the middle so they can slide down onto heated bars. Curlers had to be positioned just right on the bar to get them all in or out. - Several times while unrolling the curlers, some of my hair went into the slit and had to be untangled before the curler could be removed. - My curls where gone within 1 hour even though I had product in my hair and left the curlers in for 40 minutes. The unit did not get that hot and I suspect this is the cause (This was never a problem with my old unit, which got much hotter). - The unit is rather large, so storing it would be a big consideration. I am not sure the extra space to heat the clips, which weren't really that warm, is necessary.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Difficult to use The curlers take a long time to heat up. The claw like fasteners are terrible. They wont hold the curler in place. The curler flops around when you move and if you have to bend down for any reason, the curler falls out. I didn't get an even curl, because I had to keep re-adjusting the curler and claw clip to get it to stay in. I much prefer the old pin style clips. They at least would hold the curler snug in place. The claw clips looked like a good idea when I bought it, but newer isn't always better. I would not recommend this to anyone with short to medium hair. They just don't stay in place. I will keep the unit and try to find the pins to use with it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice set I am not one to put much effort into doing my hair. I have long wavy hair that doesn't require much maintenance. Recently I have been wanting a sleeker look with more defined curls. I tried out the Conair Curling Hair Curlers and got some volumptuous, bouncy curls. I feel these curlers would suit someone better with medium to short hair. The curlers themselves are not very big, but there is at least a variety in the sizes. The grasp on the clips is not strong and I had a couple become loose. I replaced the loose ones with a new heated clip and still got the desired look. I like that the clips are heated and have their own compartment underneath the curlers. This makes it easier to store and keep everything together.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not enough "bite" I have shoulder length, thick hair. The clips that are provided with the rollers are not big enough to hold the rollers in my hair. I have had to use large, claw clips to keep the rollers in. If my husband had not thrown away the box, I would be returning these rollers.
