Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Volume! Great product!! Much easier than trying to use a round brush in one hand and a hairdryer in the other. The large barrel produces great volume. Love this product!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as good as the first one I recently purchased this as a replacement for the same item I bought 2 years ago. I loved the original one, it worked well to straighten and curl the ends under. Unfortunately, my original one recently started dying, giving off that horrible odor that hair dryer motors exude on their way out. The replacement unit looks basically the same, but doesn't work as well. The first time I used it, it struggled to spin through my (relatively thin) hair, and then created tremendous static in my hair. On subsequent tries, the static issue seems to have subsided, but it still doesn't spin as easily as my original unit, and makes a squealing noise while doing so. I'm considering returning it to try a different unit, perhaps this one is defective? Or maybe they're just not made as well anymore?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great! Until it crapped out on me. Bought this for around $50 which was a steal compared to a friend's which cost $100. Right away though, despite watching countless videos, my hair kept getting stuck and caught in the gaps. Another thing I noticed was that the heat is not that strong so I spent twice as long on my hair as with a standard dyer but considering I used it once [maybe twice at most] in a week, I could live with that. My hair never achieved great volume but it was shiny and the ends flipped like I just came from the salon. Then the Honeymoon ended. The wand started slowing. Then it stopped spinning for a moment...just a small moment. Slowly it started stopping for greater lengths of time until today it left me with half a head of damp hair which I had to take out my trusty Revlon hairdryer to finish off. I'm not amused.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pretty Good I Guess... I have very long thick hair so it wasn't any faster than a blow dryer or maybe I'm just used to doing my hair a certain way. My hair got caught between the plastic parts a couple of times. I suggest watching a few you-tube videos for ideas and hints on how to use it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Two in One I bought this product over two years ago when it first came out. I USE IT EVERY MORNING AND LOVE IT. I trust Conair above every other manufacture of hair products and would never purchase anything else. I am now buying one for my daughter who has long naturally curly hair and a back up for me because I travel. I used to blow dry my hair and then straighten it with a curling iron-no more. This does it all.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Buyer Beware After reading reviews, I couldn't wait to get this dryer, but wanted to get it at the $39 price. Even though it said it was available for store pick-up, no store had it at that price. I checked several stores in the Chicago area and they all had it, but you had to pay an additional $15 for the one with the plastic cover that fit over the brush. Really, that much more for a plastic cylinder? Still swayed by the reviews, I gave in and paid the extra money so I could get it right away. I was happy with the results, but pretty unhappy when a week later when I used it for the third time, the spinning feature stopped working. I took it back to the store and returned it with no hassles, but when I checked to see if that store had them, I was stunned to find that they were now charging $60 for it. I can order it online for $39, but not feeling like it's a very wise purchase.
