Rated 5 out of 5 by from Chicken coop heater installed it in our chicken coop. It appears to be doing a good job on very cold nights. Well made product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't buy, does not work. I purchased this item to use under my desk at work. It did nothing to warm my legs and feet at all. I returned it and purchased a traditional stand-up space heater which works perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect and made here in Chicago First let me say this product is fantastic. It radiates heat one direction - not out the back, just forward. It isn't waterproof, but it is easy enough to do so if you need waterproofing. Is it enough heat? Well, it's 150 watts. 1/10th the usual output of a space heater. But three times the output of a bed pad/warmer. It's perfect in a small space - radiant heat, within a few inches of the surface. I think it's got a lot more potential for near-field or contact heating, and folks may be disappointed at it's localized warmth. This unit is exactly 16 1/8" wide. It fit perfectly into my external Rheem 95x tankless water heater door frame. If you need localized heating to keep pipes from freezing, this is your guy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth the cost I agree with Mozetta's "Weak" review. I bought this because my office has a policy against space heaters. I knew it wasn't going to put out as much heat as a space heater but I have to have the panel right against my legs to feel any heat. The panel itself is extremely hot to touch so it's working. Unfortunately it just doesn't radiate any heat. I gave it 2 stars for value because at least I can return this to my local Target store.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good safe heater This is a great space heater for under your desk. To meet manufactures safety requirements for normal 1500 watt space heaters they cannot be used in congested areas (normally require 3' of space from all combustible material). This heater only draws 150 watts and can be used under a desk safely. Also avoids tripping breakers from electrical overload like most 1500 watt space heater can cause. If you need to heat more than your personal space in the office this is not the space heater for you. If you need to keep the chill off while at your desk and not effect others then this is the space heater for you.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Weak Even on High, you only feel the heat if you're virtually pressed against the panel. Traditional space heater is MUCH more effective.
