I bought this palette specifically for some of the brighter colors and they don't disappoint! These shadows blend well and last for hours, though without a primer they sometimes blend a little too much over time. Color payoff is somewhat inconsistent. I've noticed that the matte shades tend to be very sheer without primer, while the shimmer shades are more vivid. I would purchase this again.

I'm just getting into eye makeup so I didn't want something expensive to play around with. This was a great deal. I love ELF cosmetics because they are inexpensive and pretty decent quality. I'd recommend this for someone who wants to play around with colors. The only down side for me was there are not very many blues. It's mostly browns and oranges but that's good for everyday makeup, at least for me. Good value for the money.

I got this a few days ago. I had seen reviews on it, and tutorials, and was liking what I was seeing. However it is not carried year round at my local store.. it is in another town about ten minutes away, but I was just too lazy to go there to get it... but when i saw it in the gift style packaging, I HAD TO GET ONE!!! I also purchased another smaller palette of more neutral colors. This palette has amazing pigment for the price! very cute looks can be done using these fantastic colors!!! I did a look today with the bright greens in it, and got compliments ALL DAY LONG!!! get this, and hopefully you'll have as much luck as I did!!!

This was ok, the variety of colors is nice but it took me more than one "coat" to get the colors as dark as they were in the palette.
An eyeshadow primer will help to make it show up as vibrantly as they should

I was so glad to find this half off and snagged it immediately. I am generally a fan on elf and their cheap products -most of them anyway. I particularly love this one as the color payoff of the shadows is much much better than their regular and I have lots of colors to experiment with.

This is a really great set for a beginner. Unfortunately, the cover came broken. However, the price is right so you don't feel guilty if you break or neglect the palette. The colors and textures are quite impressive for the price. Pigmentation is nice but not always consistent with each color.
