This unfortunately is not deep enough for the backseat of our '05 Ford Escape. The mesh pockets are under the carseat. Hopefully when we buy a new car seat they'll be usable. I'm still happy with this purchase. Love that it protects the upper part of the seat as well as the sitting section. Works with the LATCH system. I'm happy it doesn't slide around on our leather seats and the base doesn't seem to slide on the fabric this is made of either. Overall I would recomend. Just know it proba bly won't be perfect.
I wanted this to work with our cars but unfortunately our seats are too deep and mesh went under the carseat. We have a 11 Camry and 08 Chevy equinox.
Easy to install but not long enough for our Chevy Impalas back seat. Unable to use to sheer pockets, as they are under the infant car seat.
I bought these as a gift for a friend and decided to try them myself. My husband is very fond of his car and protecting it from the spills and splashes that comes with having a baby in the car. It easy to wipe down and the pockets are good for storage.
I registered for this item when I was pregnant. I already had a 1 year old that was in a car seat and I decided to test it out. We went on a long trip and stored a bottle, a sippy cup, a couple snacks, and pacifiers. It was so awesome. I could sit in the front seat and reach around to find things for him without turning around or taking off my seat belt. I brought two more for my daughters booster seat, she puts her little markers and trinkets in there for long trips, and my new born. mainly to protect the seats, and for the storage when needed. It did slide a little with the booster so I just added a little of the non stick liner for drawers and cabinets and it stays in place.
I bought this to protect my leather seats from having a carseat base on it for the next year or more. It doesn't seem to fit well in my 08 Honda Accord. The mesh pockets don't even hang down as they should. Though it seems to have a rubbery, non-slip material on the bottom, it still seems to move around quite a bit on leather. I plan to try it on the fabric seats in my husbands truck instead.
I like having this, but it does slide down on my leather seats. It still offers the protection I need, but I wish it'd stay in place.
Extremely easy to put in car and has saved our seat. Good value for the money.
We have one of these for my 15 month old. It has held up nicely, and it does protect the seat. My reason for giving it only 4 stars, is that the pockets are not that usable. Perhaps when she is forward-facing that will change. All-in-all I would recommend this; we have since purchased another to use for our baby-to-be.

These are a great idea but I am a car seat technician and these are far from safe. They are not crash tested WITH a seat and are not approved from the government for safety. I have never seen a vehicle that had a seat that sustained any 'injuries' from the car seat being on it. You have to ask yourself whether you are worried about your vehicle's seat or your child's safety. It is only tested and approved to use a shelf liner if your seat won't stay still on leather.
