Entryway Bench with 3 Baskets/Cushions - White product details page

I needed a simple storage bench for an exercise room. Saw this in an upscale catalog for twice the price. Version at Target seemed to be pretty much the same plus included the baskets and cushions. Pretty basic stuff, typical painted particle board but looks good. It was easy to assemble by myself, directions were clear, no special tools needed (just a philips screwdriver), no problems fitting together. Painted all white (no dirty looking antique finish as some other reviewers noted), baskets w ere good quality, I plan to replace the cushions with a solid bench cushion. Pleased with this purchase.

Our previously cluttered front hallway is now spectacularly tidy, with my three kids' shoes, boots, hats, and gloves all hidden from view inside this bench. The cushions aren't as terrible as other reviewers implied. Sure, they are a bland yellowish color, but at least the cover is removable and can be washed. I'm actually considering dying mine a different color. My main gripe is that the "backsplash" separated ever so slightly enough from the seat so as to cause a crack in the white paint along the seam. At least it's not noticeable when the cushions are in place. Unlike other reviewers, I actually like the fact that the baskets have a removable bottom. I put the basket's bottom piece in a plastic bag before popping it into the frame, so as to protect it from dirty shoes, etc. I also plan to duct tape the bottom edges to prevent scratches on the bench. The baskets themselves are sturdier than what you'd find at your big box arts 'n crafts store.

I ordered this bench for my 10 year old daughter's room. It sits under a window and looks very nice. The quality fo the furniture is great for the price. I know other reviews mentioned smudge marks, and based on those, I was not going to buy it. I kept going back to it online and decided that I would have to look over this issue. Mine did not have any black smudges at all. It took my husband about a 1/2 hour to put it together. The pillows are a bit hard when you sit on them and they do not hav e velcro to keep them in place. Overall, it was a good value, a nice looking piece of furniture, and I would definitely but it again.

I love it. My husband loves it. We put it together in an hour. Quite sturdy. Aired the baskets out overnight in the garage. The 3 cushions are hard, smelly and a strange color. I am ordering a one piece cushion from that other high priced store. This was a fabulous deal and it was on sale, plus free shipping. I recommend this bench.

I redid my entire mud room, with a lot of clean white elements, so this bench was a welcome addition to my "seatless" room. It was very easy to put together. I was concerned about the baskets staying together, as they're flat packed, and they simply pop open and you insert the floor of them to keep upright. But they're sturdy and very pretty. Overall this is a great bench. If there were a drawback, I wish the seat covers weren't such a "peachy-creamy" color. But really that' s such a minor problem I couldn't ever consider it a deal-breaker. I'd totally buy this again.

Previous reviews have mentioned that the bench had an antique finish that they didn't like very much, but the bench I received is pure white and looks great! I almost considered not buying it because of those reviews, but I am so glad I ended up getting it. It was easy to put together, is a nice quality, and provides lots of good storage. It's true that the cushions aren't the best, but the baskets are okay. I might end up putting cloth liners in them because there are some raw edges. I would d efinitely recommend this bench to anyone!

My niece and her future husband were very pleased with this bench. They put it together easily and love the way it looks in their entry. What better way to give a gift that a young couple really wants than to use the gift registration for weddings. Thank you Target! An easy way to shop.

We are very pleased with the Entryway Bench. It was very easy to assemble, is quite sturdy, and it looks nice. We use the bench in our mud room, our three children sit on the bench as they tie their shoes and get their backpacks ready each morning before school. After school they toss their shoes and other nicknacks in the baskets, its been a big help keeping them organized and helping us maintain a clean mud room. This is a Great Value for the price!

Bought this bench over 3 years ago and I wanted to write a review to say that it has held out very well. The instructions were easy to follow and it was easy to assemble. I would just suggest to be careful when pulling the baskets in and out. It does create some chips and scratches on the paint that is pretty noticeable. But I guess it's expected with constant use. But a little touch up with paint made the bench almost new again. I don't use the cushions much for sitting, but I do tend to put i tems on them and they still have their thick shape. It was a great purchase.

I love this piece however trying to get one that had all of the pieces that fit or not cracked was a chore. The 1st one that I received had a big crack in the bench. They were suppose to bring me a entirely new order and pick up this one but the delivery men left the box sitting outside my house and did not even knock on the door. When we tried putting together the 2nd one the screws would not fit and it was already stripped. Finally got a full one and it is very pretty.
