My old iron broke and I was in desperate need of a new one. I never realized how often I use and iron until I didn't have a working one anymore and had to search high and low in my closet for non-wrinkled work clothes! I found this one online and the first thing that drew me was the price and the fact that it has the auto-shutoff feature.... I get super paranoid every time I leave my apt thinking that I forgot to turn off my iron and I would be responsible if my building caught on fire. I neede d something inexpensive (because I'm broke!) but reliable. The price and the auto-shutoff feature, in addition to the brand sold me, so bought it. It's really "cute" and so far works perfectly fine. The only thing I wish it would have had was the setting for certain materials (cotton, linen, silk, etc)...but for the price, who cares?! The settings are low, medium and high, but in the instructions it does tell you at which setting to iron certain materials. All in all, so far so good. It's getting the job done and I'm no longer paranoid when I leave my apt because if by chance I do forget to shut it off, it does it on it's own! :)
