I have had this rack put together for less than a week. Today I went upstairs to get a shirt, and all my clothes were on the floor. One of the plastic pieces on the bottom snapped in half. I would highly recommend that you do not purchase this product.

Unfortunately, I didn't check out the reviews before buying two of these items. What is so frustrating... the construction could have been sturdier-even if the price point doubled- and they would have been great.

I bought 3 garment racks from Target - 2 were this model and one was just the single rack. All three broke within a month. I was careful not to put a ton of clothes on these, because they pretty much looked like garbage out of the box, but I guess the photo on the box has two or three little garments hanging, and that's what they mean. Do not purchase garment racks from Target. All of them are useless.

Unless your planning on hanging barely anythingr on it don't buy. Better off buying metal clothing fixtures on [...]. Worthless. What a waste of money. Might be able to lightly use with kids clothing. Rack collapsed at 2 am in morning clothes all over floor.

I am extremely dissatisfied with this purchase. I bought two of these and both have had pieces that have broken. It barely supports anything you put on it. Twice I've come home to find all my clothes all over the closet floor - extremely inconveinent. I would not recommend this to anyone.

I bought two. The first one broke the day after I bought it. The other one lasted one week and broke. What's the point of the double rack if it can't even handle the weight of what can fit on there. DO NOT BUY. Such a waste of money!

This is the best clothes rack! I read the reviews and they were all bad! But I thought I would give it a try. I got it home and had a little hard time putting it together. My husband had to help getting the poles to snap into the plastic pieces. But once it was done and up. It's perfect! I now have 28 jackets and most are NOT light jackets and scarves hanging on the extended top pieces. It's perfect and sturdy. And love that it has 2 heights! I was kind of worried about the plastic parts but th ey seem very durable! An absolute success on this purchase!

This was the worst item I can remember ever purchasing. I was in a temporary housing situation so I purchased four of these clothing racks. All four of the racks fell apart within weeks of assembly. They all broke at the base. The plastic bottom base is the culprit,it is made with inferior plastic. All four snapped at the base. [...]

I've had this for about two weeks, and it sat empty for a week while I was moving into my new place. I noticed that it didn't stand straight up, but I figured it was because I'd put it together hastily. The second day it had clothes on it, the thing fell over in the middle of the night, even after I'd taken extra time to make sure it was assembled as best it could be. A few days later, I was hanging t-shirts on it when the middle bar collapsed. Under the measly weight of about eight t-shirt s and plastic hangers, both of the plastic braces that support that bar had cracked. The nearest Target store is two hours away, so now I'm stuck with this [$] piece of garbage.

I have hung entirely too much weight on this thing at once, and it still holds up like new. I've even pushed it around the apartment with my entire wardrobe on it, while moving in an unpacking, and haven't had any problems. I've already had it through 2x moves and even after being disassmbled and reassembled, it is like brand new. Anyone who said this thing broke on them either had a bad one or must have taken a sledge hammer to it. I would definitely recommend to anyone.
