Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm in LOVE! As soon as I turned it on, I said out loud, I love you humidifier! Thank you! I've been searching high and low for a humidifier that is not ultrasonic (those put out white dust even with a filter) and one that is QUIET!! I am hypersensitive to sound and on low this one...is SILENT!!!! On speeds two and three you can hear it softly. On three, I can't ever hear it when my a/c or heat is running. Yes for real. If you're someone that likes white noise, this is perfect because it's a smooth fan sound, if even close to a fan on low. It is so quiet I am soooooooo happy and it humidifies my extra large bedroom no prob. I do have it near my bed but I've had no issues. Zero. I just followed the simple instructions to set up, and voila up and running 24/7 for about two weeks now, not a single issue except happiness. Can someone be this happy about a humidifier? Yep, I am, I have health issues too so I needed one that was quiet and efficient. I run it on low 24/7, with maybe a spurt on three sometimes for bed, but the container lasts about a day and a half on low. I do need to refill it I'm my bathtub faucet as my bathroom sinks are et deep enough. It's easy to carry with it's grip handle and just lift up, unscrew lid, fill with water, screw lid back on to tank, place back in humidifier, and enjoy the sweet sound of silence or easy white noise, while breathing easy! No dry skin in this east winter with my new honeywell. It's also not an eyesore, it has a simple design just like photo. There is no auto turn off feature and you have to buy replacement filters after several months of constant use. I will gladly do so to keep my fave humidifier working well. Go for it, worth the money!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stopped working after 2 months This seemed to work great at first, but after 2 months of nightly use, it no longer works. The fan runs, but the water level never changes, meaning it's not actually humidifying. I'm disappointed in this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works very well! We've had it 3 weeks as of this review: We use it on low, which is nearly silent (I can't sleep through any noise), and it perfectly humidifies our 15' x 16' bedroom. Gives off almost no external light - I hate light too. Water lasts 3 days on low when running only overnight. Easy to use, moments to clean or fill, so we love it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well It seems to work really well although it's a little more complicated than I would like (with a paper filter inside that needs to be replaced periodically) - I also wish I had gotten the warm rather than cool mist but that is entirely my fault

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bought on clearance. Even with the great price, I felt like I overpaid for a terrible product. Very disappointed. After a few months of working like a dream, it stopped blowing moisture out of it...just dry air. It's also very difficult to clean. The fan blades, grill, and other components have collected some dust on them. I unscrewed all the screws inside to try to clean it, but there are wires that keep you from taking the housing off of the fan components. I use a humidifier in my asthmatic child's room. It defeats the purpose if it's also blowing dust into the air.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Honeywell Humidifier I have had no problems with my humidifier. It came in a timely manner and seems to be of good quality. I was getting congested at night prior to using my humidifier and with the use of my humidifier that problem seems to have subsided. It also runs quietly when on low so that I can sleep.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not bad This was my first humidifier purchase. I did some background research and decided that I wanted a cool mist, UV-lit evaporating unit. This fit the bill. Kaz recently bough Honeywell, so I'm not sure how the quality has changed, but I was surprised at the simplicity of this design. It's literally a water tray with a capillary-action "filter" and a fan. There is no setting for relative humidity, but three speeds of "on." It's certainly quiet (on the lowest setting) and effective, but for [$], I expected a bit more. Overall, I'm moderately pleased with my purchase and I'll chalk-up my dissatisfaction to inexperience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy, simple, effective - but you must replace the filters! We have two of these filters and find them quite effective. If you have hard water, you will have to change out the filters often. The filter keeps the mineral dust from entering the air. The build up in the filter prevents the water from flowing through the filter and thus prevents its rapid evaporation. Change the filters and you will get plenty of clean humidified air. Other humidifiers left mineral residue near the machine. This one does not, thanks to the filter. Stock up on filters each winter and you're ready to go. We've had our two for 3 winters now and are very pleased with them. I had pneumonia when we bought them - because the doctor recommended getting a humidifier to speed recovery and prevent a relapse.
