Rated 4 out of 5 by from works quite well Saw this online from and decided to check it out at the local Target store. There was a price difference at the local store ($151.99) but Target matched the Internet price so I'm pleased. Although I'm a bit disappointed that they didn't label the one I bought as a returned\used unit. I opened the box at home and the manual was missing. There was a thin layer of dust on the pre-filter as if someone had already used this product. The contents didn't seem to be packaged correctly. But after some detailed inspections and a quick clean up with a vacuum cleaner, it's all good. Very quiet (even at high setting). Good airflow. The lights are dim so it's not distracting in the bedroom. I prefer this over my Ionic Pro air purifier. It's cheaper too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very pleased. Upgraded to this model yesterday (after retiring a similar Honeywell air purifier purchased 7 years ago, which I used a lot). Really like this newer model. It's quieter and more sturdy than older model. No assembly... just remove from box and plug in. Air smells fresh (smokers downstairs and dust due to busy street). Like the oscillating feature... blows cool-ish air, keeping my non-air conditioned room comfy. I appreciated the other Reviews, they helped me decide on this purchase. Paid on-line with PayPal option and received discount for Target store pick-up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pleasantly Surprised Got a great deal on it but was skeptical what ~$100 purifier would do. We have 3 dogs and cats. Two of them, the husky and retriever shed abundantly during spring. I still vacuum every other day so the air purifier filter doesn't clog with hair, but I see a significant decrease in dander and dust accumulation! The hubby still has a lingering dander allergy and running this machine has drastically reduced his sneezing and coughing and he hasn't used his inhaler since I purchased the purifier two weeks ago. I read some of the reviews about the rotating part not performing well, so I only turn on the oscillation for short periods of time. It is not whisper quite but I was not expecting it to be. It is good background noise for sleeping (white noise) and a cooling breeze.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent Air Purifier but not Great About 8 or so years ago, I bought a very similar model to this one. That model didn't oscillate but had three speeds and included the permanent filters as this one does. I have to say that I actually liked that one better than this one (unfortunately it recently died). Here are the reasons why: 1) The older model was louder. I liked having the "fan white noise" when I was sleeping. This newer model is as described; whisper quiet. I have to put it on the highest fan level to hear it. I miss having the option of being able to use the medium and high fan levels to have the fan noise. If you are using this in a living room, the quiet will be perfect but I am only using it in my bedroom so it's not exactly what i was hoping for. 2) It doesn't seem to freshen the room as much as the older model nor does it blow out the clean air as strongly. The older model worked wonders. The air was so clean and clear and I'd wake up feeling like I could breath better. This one hasn't had the same effect and maybe it's just that I haven't had it very long and need to give it more time?? On the other hand, here are the reasons why it's a decent air purifier: 1) It's nice that it oscillates. It actually works like a fan and will be nice in the summer when it's warmer out. Can make things a bit chilly if you are using it in a small bedroom, in the winter, but I don't mind it being a little cooler so it's not too big of an issue for me. 2) Energy efficient! This was a huge selling point for me. Not that my last one cost that much to run but this one has a good energy rating and I always appreciate appliances like that. 3) Permanent filters! I loved this with my last one and was huge selling point for me to purchase the newer one. It's so easy to just vacuum and/or wash the filters rather than having to buy new ones all the time. All in all, the purifier will work. It's not the greatest but for what I need, it's ok. If you have severe allergies/asthma, I wouldn't recommend it, I don't think it's going to be that effective for serious issues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product with easy pickup The early spring has the trees doing their best to incapacitate me with their pollen. The air purifier is quiet and effective for my bedroom. No problems sleeping with the purifier on low. Best price I could find and easy pickup at the neighborhood store the next day.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cat Dander I bought this when my husband started to show signs of being allergic to our "Hypoallergenic" cat (no cat can be truly hypoallergenic just FYI) So I bought this to try and alleviate some of those symptoms. To be honest I did not notice a huge difference. I feel like my husband mainly uses it as a fan when he sleeps because it does blow colder air. The noise is minimal which is nice. I did however notice now that we have had it for about a month it makes this weird noise when its on its lowest setting like it is struggling to work. Almost like a car revving its engine continuously. It may need to be exchanged in the near future due to this. I like it, but I do not think it has served its purpose in our case... which was to eliminate cat dander.
