I love the ITSO cubes and bins. I wanted something to place in my toddler's room for his books and was tickled to see that these shelves were available for the cubes. I went to my local Target store and tried the shelves out just to see how easy or difficult it would be to put the shelves in. I'm glad I did it in the store, because the tabs snapped right off as I was trying to put the shelf in the cube, and I wasn't applying excessive force. I grabbed a new one, paid for it with my cube, an d before I left the store put the shelf in the cube in case the tabs snapped off again. I was gentle this time and had no problems, but you have to be very CAREFUL or the tabs will snap. Otherwise, once in place the shelf works well and looks great with a patterned bin. Even the large cardboard books we have fit nicely. I guess I would have preferred some sort of posts you could insert in the sides, and then lay the shelf on top of the posts, rather than the flimsy tabs they have currently.

i have a daycare and i have bought them to use for toy storage. i like that they are very versital and i can change them to meet my needs. I like the affordability..the only negative is the doors to the units. They are only $3.99 but could be a little sturdier than what they are. they are pretty flimsy...i had 2 cubes stacked with doors on and they did not line up very good. but i hooked them to another stack and they were better, maybe a a more stable unit all together.
