I love this moisturizer, i'm very pale and it's awesome as a first time self-tanner because it isn't as harsh or intense as some of the other products on the market and builds up gradually. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to begin self tanning. On other reviews it says it smells bad, but the new formula (which is most likely what you'll come across) smells great! I apply it after every shower for the best results.Some tips:-Apply in very thin layers at first, everyones skin reacts differently so to prevent streaking don't put it on thickly.- When applying to dryer areas of skin like knee's and elbows mix normal moisturizer with it. It will appear darker in dryer areas if you do not mix moisturizer for it.- Don't buy the mixture for dark skin, it will not make your skin tan faster...it will just make it more orange and fake looking. Trust me i learned from experience.- Wash your hands once you've applied it or they'll be super orange.But yeah...other than those it's super easy to use and affordable! I'd definitely recommend it :)

I did my homework on this product as I used to use it a few years ago. The reason I stopped using it was because it had a strong odor that I nor my boyfriend @ the time could stand. I loved how tan it made me though.Being in my late 20's I'm trying to stay out of the sun & tanning beds. I've tried other products, but they also had the same offensive odor. A lot of reviews claim this product to have a bad odor, but in my research I found that people were saying it had a great smell as well. I compared the dates and sure enough the older posts said it smelled horrible and the newer ones said it smelt great.So I went to Target and bought the product. I came home & put it on & I was surprised by the wonderful scent. I had hoped it would be better, but they really made a change. It still gives the great tan I missed, but now it smells great as well! I am so happy! They should put on there "new better scent" or something, so people will know without having to do the research... GREAT PRODUCT!

I've always avoided self tanners because most of them give you that oompa loompa look.I heard about jergens from commercials and magazines saying,"It gives you a natural looking glow and reduces the appearance of cellulite."I was curious but at the same time thought,"They all say that."After having many failed attempts at tanning through the sun I decided,"what harm can it do to try?"So,I went to target and bought me my own special bottle(yes it's special) and appl ied it as soon as I got home.I continued to apply daily and saw results in four days!It didn't look fake or anything!It was a definite surprise!

I've tried many self-tanning products. (I like the Aveno product the best,but it is hard to find). This Jergen's lotion goes on a bit heavier than you would like for summer (like a heavy sun screen), but it sinks in and dries pretty well. It doesn't stain your clothes. I bought the "medium/dark" formula. You need to use it every day for about a week to see results. Because it is slow acting, it doesn't smell strongly. After you shower, some color will rub off on your towel, but it com es out in the wash. Then apply every other day to maintain your color.

I have tried at least 6 different self tanners but I keep coming back to Jergens. It does the best for color without streaking. The color appears quickly and lasts. Even though I am fair skinned I use the one for medium skin tones. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that it has a slight chemical odor to it. I can smell the self tanner on my skin and I don't care for that part.

Ok, so I fell into the gimmic of the FINALLY NO SMELL self tanner...WHAT A JOKE! I applied a thin layer this morning and I've been stinking up the place all day! I can't stand the smell of myself and have showered since.. wish I could return but threw out the receipt. [$] to smell horrible! WORST ADVERTISING EVER! Just say what it is...a gradual tanning lotion, JUST LIKE EVERY OTHER GRADUAL TANNING LOTION...YOU'LL STILL SMELL HORRIBLE, but hey at least you've got a glow.

This tanner was alright, but I don't think it gave me enough color. I'm very pale, so I was just looking for a little bit of extra glow for summer. It gave me a little color, but even with my pale skin, I could achieve what I got with a week of using the lotion with a day or two outside. It has an odd smell, but it's not bad at all!

Jergens Natural Glow Revitalizing Moisturizer works wonders! If applied properly every day it leaves your skin looking healthy and sunkissed without turning it orange or leaving behind streaks. Not to mention it smells amazing! What more can you ask for?

I focus on the quality vs. the scent. In this case, neither were impressive. I don't like this lotion like I used to. I've noticed t gives you a slight orange coat with a little bit and the orange gets more noticeable as you add more lotion. It's an amazing idea, but it could use a few tweaks. I don't expect it to be perfect, but I don't like to resemble fruit nor smell slightly like fake tanner.

First of all, this lotion works amazing.. i really needed a natural looking tan and in the first week of applying this product once a day I saw immediate results!! It dries in less than 3 minutes and it smells great, just like an ordinary lotion! It does not stain your hands or clothes(as long as you let it dry for 3 minutes) and if you follow the instructiones and dont get wet for at least 4 hours after applying it WILL NOT rub off!! this is definetly worth it!!
