Rated 2 out of 5 by from Snags hair Loved the look of this flat iron and I didn't have any issues with the temp settings like a few others BUT it snags hair! I didn't get the results I was looking for and I had to go over my hair several times and still didn't get it straight enough. I have long hair and it's fine but this did nothing for me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from hot enough but... Everytime I use it I either shut it off or turn the heat down as the buttons are right where I hold it, under my thumb. Poor location, but hot enough to straighten my hair, if I keep turning it back on and turning it back up. Very frustrating.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from For someone who doesn't straighten their hair daily. I have to straighten my long, thick hair daily. This product has fried my hair. The buttons are also in a horrible spot on the handle, so that when you're straightening your hair you constantly are changing the temperature on accident. The bottom of my straightener is also covered in melted plastic where it has melted itself, so be careful.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible design The handle has the temperature control button. There is no way to hold the iron without changing the temperature--terrible design. I am returning the iron now.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a good straightener After having bought a competitor's brand flat iron and being dissatisfied, I decided to purchase this one. It heats up fairly quickly but the controls are on the front, which proves to be frustrating because you are constantly pushing the temperature control buttons while trying to straighten your hair. I also do not like this iron because my hair gets caught in the plates. I have wavy, fine hair and it takes several tries to get it straight. Even after I am finished, I still have some wave in my hair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 1 flaw Ive had a conair for the past 4 years and it finally had to be trashed due to my stupidity. I'll be honest I got this straightener solely for the looks and that my Significant Other wouldn't shut up about me getting one. Im so happy that i chose this one. My hair has so much volume after i straightened my hair. Its amazing and the curls that you get from it is effortless. As for the controls. They need a new place. I dont know how many times i had to reset the temperature. I'm sure once you get the hang of it, it's not to bad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product Love my straightener. I bought a $200.00 straightener prior to this one and it only lasted a year. I have had this straightener for over a year and it's still working very well. It's also better than a Chi. The only problem I had was with the controllers. It's on the handle. It took a while to get use to but It isn't a problem anymore. I have EXTREMELY curly hair so straightening my hair is very hard to do but it straightens very well.GREAT PRICE!!!
