In this third installment in the Kekko-Kamen live-action series, the stark-****** heroine leaps into action once again, ready to put the sado masochistic faculty of one ****** high school in their places Raunchy, violent, all-out silliness accompany the gratuitous nudity that make this very adults-only release. Perry Seibert, Rovi
The masked, ****** heroine Kekko Kamen is back to defend the weak and oppressed in Kekko Kamen: The MGF Strikes Back, the sequel to Kekko-Kamen. She rides a hot little motor scooter and dons nothing but a red mask, like a modern day Lady Godiva--only with less poetry and more all-out raunchiness But what is her true identity? Is she actually one of the students at Mangriffon School, trying to defend her classmates from the tyrannous ******-happy faculty? Cammila Albertson, Rovi
This film is the first of several live-action adaptations of a manga of the same name. It tells the story of a girl named Mayumi who has been accepted to a finishing school for future journalists. The school is also a haven for sadism and students are regularly punished in absurdly violent and ****** ways, with obvious campy intentions. For instance, Mayumi is being punished by way of taking a flogging while strapped to a rocking horse in nothing but her underwear when the film's heroine appears: Kekko Kamen, savior of the mistreated. Completely nude except for red boots and a red mask with long floppy ears, she roughs up the faculty so that Mayumi can pursue her dream of being an anchorwoman. The film parodies itself in its low budget and sexually explicit nature, going so far as having a character suggest that another character take some action because it will "advance the plot." Cammila Albertson, Rovi
This fourth installment in the Kekko-Kamen live-action movie series delivers more raunchy humor and over-the-top violence. The series -Kekko Kamen began life as a manga and presented a kind of twistedly version of a Magical Girl; , the superheroine Kekko Kamen fightes her battles almost completely in the nude, save an everpresent mask that conceals her lay identity. The original manga opened in a dystopian high school, with the eponymous character rescuing a young girl from the abusive administration. Kekko Kamen Surprise, one of numerous animated adaptations of the manga, repeats the basic formula with slight variations in the story, the most noteworthy of which are several rock-n-roll musical numbers performed by the title character. In Kekko Kamen Surprise, Kekko journeys to a musical academy called "Mangriffon," concealed on a secret island, where she must once again save Mayumi from the hellish pitfalls of a tyrannous classroom.
