Rated 1 out of 5 by from low power - waste of money This piece of junk ruined another dinner. I've only used it twice and both times it wouldn't work. Last week it wouldn't blend garbanzo beans with olive oil. I thought it was maybe too thick, so I ended up adding so much oil I ruined the recipe. It never worked. I thought I'd give it a second chance. Tonight I needed to make a dressing. It would not spin with simple cilantro, olive oil and a whopping 2 cloves of garlic. Even with just the oil and cilantro, it acted as though it was too much work and could not spin. Sounds like its working, barely moves. Its been sitting on my counter since christmas and the box is long gone, so I can't even take it back. My cheap model blender did the same job in 10 seconds. Not buying this brand again. Over priced junk.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent We use our food processor to make hummus from cooked garbanzo beans. Processor needs just the right amount of liquid to make a hummus that is not too granular or too thin. Takes a little practice. One tip: do not use garbanzo beans that have been refrigerated and have become cold. Process them when they are warm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very powerful Easy to set up. It does everything I need it to do; slice, shred, chop, mix, etc. I'm excited to cook having such a fun processor to use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So Glad I read the reviews! I'm so glad I read the reviews that told me I had to put the lid on in a certain way to get it to work because I took the first one back to the store. So frustrating. Food tube in the front, then click to the right! Now I love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My new salsa machine! I love my new processor! Once you figure out that the machine will only work in certain alignment (took me about 10 minutes) it is a wonder. Works great and I like that the blade is secure, so you can pour the contents out without the blade falling out and making a mess.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great once I got it to work! I received this as a gift for my bridal shower and returned it because it wouldn't turn on. I was following all the directions exactly as they were written and tried multiple outlets and it STILL didn't turn on. I got a replacement and had the same issue. Finally I looked up this problem and discovered I had the lid pointing in the wrong direction (even though I'd sworn I tried that direction) and it won't turn on unless all the pieces are exactly in place - with the feed tube facing forward. The directions say nothing about the position of the feed tube and the lid locks in place with it facing a few different directions. Basically, the product works perfectly, but I knocked it down a star for unclear directions that, with just one more sentence, could save a lot of headache.
