A waste of money to buy such expensive ink. Not able to print right even cartridge is only half empty. Stay away from LEXMARK!!!
I bought my lexmark for around $50.00 and I pay up to $45.00. Now tell me how that's suposed to be a good buy. And let's not forget how often you have to buy the cartridges, often! The Lexmark people should be ashamed of thereselves for making such a crappy printer and for charging as much as they do for there ink cartidges! And yes I do want to join the Lexmark club and unite with other unhappy buyers. I want to help anothers from making the same mistake I did!
I am constantly buying ink cartridges for this printer. And the ones I take out are not even empty, but the printer won't print correctly if it's not replaced. To clean the printer you have to use so much ink (colored and black ink) and waist paper. And sometimes I do this three or four times, if I don't run out of ink first. And the prices of the cartridges are too costly to have to be replace them all the time. I am planning on purchasing a new ALL IN ONE printer and I guarantee it WILL NOT b e a LEXMARK. Anyone else having trouble with this product or similar ones should write a review and voice your opinion.
I have two Lexmark printers and have the same "clogged, but not empty" cartridge problem. Not only are the cartridges over-priced, but their customer service is TERRIBLE!! I have contacted them several times RE: the above problem and they tell me that no one else ever has this kind of problem and they assure me that they sell a quality product. Obviously not! Maybe we need to form an organized group of some kind to make Lexmark realize that they do have a faulty product and they d o have unhappy customers!! DON'T BUY LEXMARK!!

Everyone else is absolutely right! I try to limit printing to make expensive ink last longer but if you go for more than a week without printing(and even that's no guarantee) the printer won't work. I called customer service and they politely informed me that "it's like leaving the cap off of a sharpie and it'll dry out." Then it should cost $1.50 like a sharpie! I don't know if this is ink or Lexmark ink but it's definitely ridiculous and aggrevating.
