I would have him repeat a (true) story about the time he encountered a lion in the jungle and I would be just as fascinated by that same story every single night hehe. My parents didn’t read a lot of books to us but we did get a lot of storytimes. As a mom now, I get to start a new tradition with my daughter where I can still honor my heritage and teach my daughter some of that Spanish language, share Influential Latinas, and bond through books/stories that I Find Target.
