This is actually the first rain shield that I have seen that has some sort of breathable pockets. As a first time mom, I often look at these rain covers and wonder how the baby gets any air.Additionally, just like the Maxi Cosi bug shield, this fits over the Micralite Toro bassinet (Newborn Carrycot). A plus as the stroller is the reason I decided on the Maxi Cosi Infant Car Seat.

When it's pouring outside and you have enough to hold to bother with an umbrella, this rain shield is great! It fit our Chicco carseat perfectly. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I'm not thrilled with the opening to grab the carseat handle. It is only a flap that you open and fit your hand through. C'mon, it's obvious that some rain will get in through there. They need to redesign it and make it like an elastic hole opening, that way, it wraps around the person's wrist as they carry the carseat and avoids letting water in.
