Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great purchase This hand pump has been great to have in addition to my electric Medela pump. I seem to get more milk in less time with the hand pump, and think it's because I can vary both the suction and speed manually vs on the electric pumps the suction increases as the speed increases. I have actually used this more now than my electric pump. It also seems it has helped to decrease my overall pumping time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mom of 4 Our hospital that I had my first three kids at gave these out to new moms with no pump or ones that requested one during their first experiences with breastfeeding. I had the nice electric double pumps but honestly I used this one for everywhere when we weren't home. Car, diaper bag to carry when we were out and about for a quick bottle option, a day trip over to my parents house, everywhere. Now we are in a new town and I am about to have our fourth. I will be buying one of these if I find out this hospital doesn't do the same. I can't live without it. Don't expect it to be as perfect as an electric but I'm telling you, it's the best on the go, quick source pump you can buy. Love it!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Efficient I have a double electric Ameda pump from my insurance. Thankfully I forgot the membranes at home and really needed to pump at work. I bought this pump in a pinch and absolutely love it more than my double pump. In less than 10 min. I get 3+ oz. which is much more efficient than my double pump. It's comfortable and small enough to be discreet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from amazing pump! This is by far my favorite pump! Since I received it, my $300 electric has been stuck in the closet. Love the convenience. Its quiet. It gets out more milk than my electric! !! Since using my milk supply has even increased. Def worth the money

Rated 5 out of 5 by from work great It's a very good choice "to go". I use it at work and at school. It's very easy to use. At the same time, it's effective, and great where we cannot use electricity. It does not occupy much space. I do recommend this product as additional to stationary Medela pump at home.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good backup pump I bought this pump as a backup of my electric pump. This pump is easy to use and the base keeps the pump sturdy. Only problem I had so far is the valve is bit difficult to remove. When you assemble the parts, do not put the valve too deep otherwise it is impossible to take it out...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than my electric pump! Once I went back to work, I pumped diligently to ensure that my daughter was exclusively fed breast milk while she was at daycare. One day I brought my pump motor to work, but forgot the shields and bottles! I almost cried. Rather than buying additional shields and bottles (which would have been cheaper), I decided to go buy the manual pump on my lunch break. I AM SO GLAD I DID! The suction on this is better than my electric pump, the setup takes a fraction of the time, and my output was far better. I haven't used my electric pump since I purchased this! I would recommend this to any pumping mama.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

What it is: This compact manual breast pump is a lot more technically savvy than it lets on. The rotating pump handle allows you to pump light and fast to get milk flowing, and then deeper and harder once your milk has let down. The mechanism is so easy and smooth you can pump with a single finger (though you’ll still need your other hand to hold the phalange). If you are an everyday pumper, you’ll need an electric pump, but for the occasional pumper this is ideal.

What to watch out for: There really are no negatives here other than the ones that apply to all manual pumps: This does not provide nearly the suction that an electric pump does, and only allows you to pump one breast at a time.
