The look & dimensions were just what we wanted. After reading the reviews we decided to give it a go ordering furniture online. I am very pleased with what we purchased. The chairs are not too hard like other reviews mentioned. They are comfy and they look great. My only reason for giving a 4 star is the legs. If the holes in the legs were lined up the way the directions showed they would not have the same slanted angles in the correct direction. It is hard to explain without a visual. We h andled it by just rotating the legs to look right.

I bought two of these chairs for a cozy corner in my living room. They are very well made and were delivered amazingly fast. The assembly wasn't too bad - the first chair took me about 45 minutes, most of that trying to figure it out and some of that because I hadn't noticed that one of the staples on the dust-cover material had ended up with one of the legs of the staple in a hole I was trying to insert a bolt in. The second chair was finished in 30 minutes. I agree with one of the other r eviewers - the legs, although they are simple to put on, need to be put on in the correct corners which is not apparent from the diagram. The material itself is nice - one wouldn't know it wasn't leather if not told. The color is a very dark brown, close to black. These are very comfortable to sit in, with enough room for an adult -I'm 5'8"- to curl their legs up into while reading.

I had some issues putting it together. I hate poor instructions. These had just basic illustrations. Biggest problem was attaching back to sides. No indication how far the screws were to be left out so the chair is a little wobbly. Cushion sits out past the front of the chair so everytime you get out it pops up w/you. As the cushion flattens down with use I think this will change. Material is nice. Color is nice. Perfectly fine for the value. Looks really nice just a few issues. Plenty of room to curl up in it which is exactly what I wanted.

(***). The assembly took a long time, mostly because of poor construction. The hole for one of the leg screws was missing the metal threads, so the leg could not be secured. Another leg could not be screwed all the way in because of poor quality hardware and misalignment of the leg. The seat cushion is too thick--it sits too high and too far forward on the chair, making it very uncomfortable. I will definitely be returning this chair.

I ordered two and both came in perfect condition. My daughter and I put them together in less than an hour each. After visiting several high end furniture stores, I can say these could easily be in one of those showrooms. Couldn't be happier with the product.

This is a really good looking chair -- from all angles! It is compact, yet the proportions are generous. The seat is quite deep, which means you can add an accent pillow or two, and still have plenty of room to sit. I bought the matching ottoman as well, and it makes a very nice set. Assembly was a bit of a challenge for one person working alone, but didn't take too long. Had a couple of small bits of veneer chip off of one of the legs during assembly, but not in a very visible spot and shouldn 't be too difficult to touch up.

This Chair is wonderful!! It looks marvelous in our den. It was easy to put together event though the directions only came with picutres...no words. Here is a hint though....when you put the arm sides on, you have to unvelcro the bottom flap to place the screws in right. This is not on the picture directions, but once I found that out, it was simple to do. You can put this together in 30-45 mins. Good choice!!

this is a great and stylish chair....it is firm, and the back is low, so i reccomend a nice ottoman if you need to slouch down and relax in it, but it is a great chair. it's big enough for two small kids to curl up in or one average adult can fold their feet up in it with a good book. it was easy to put together, my 3-year-old and i put two of them together flawlessly with no help from hubby in about 40 minutes. (she loved putting the bolts and washers together) over all this is more than worth the price and i am very pleased.

very comfortable chair. Have bought multiple of same one for my work lobby and our patients love them!
