I contacted Mohawk about the product. They warranty their products for a year. All I had to do was provide them with the UPC and I will receive a new one in about two weeks, shipped to my door! It was super easy, they were wonderful to deal with and to deal with a company that stands behind their product makes me a super happy customer who WILL buy Mohawk again!
I've read the reviews and the negative ones didn't impact my decision to purchase in the least. I ordered seven in various sizes to display throughout my home. OMG, the colors are vibrant and added that genasaqua, a certain something special to my home, which has earth-tones, suede khaki sectional with earth-tone multi-colored suede pillows. My carpet is a natural color so the rugs add the spice of life, not like my previous lack luster rugs; which I might add cost much more, and my walls are p ainted in various hues of burnt orange, taupe, and chartreuse green (how I wish Target had a feature to upload pictures). As a bonus, Target has a pillow to match, which really sets off my suede khaki chair, can you say [...]. As for the negative reviews of 2010, they all mentioned that the threads were coming out or fading. Maybe the manufacturer stepped up their game; I cant imagine the threads coming out because the carpet piles are so short. They also mentioned vacuuming destroyed the rugs as well, Ive use my bag less vacuum cleaner at least five times a week (yeah, I gotta a little OCD), and no problems. But trust, if I encountered the problems as those mentioned in the negative reviews I will contact the manufacturer directly and simply have them replace my rugs for FREE! Target is a retailer, and thus is not in the business of offering guarantees. [..]
Didn't go online to read reviews before we bought this in the store 9 months ago. SILLY ME. It's been falling apart for months now, and of course it's too late to return it. Huge waste of money, will never buy a rug from Target again. If you're thinking about purchasing this item, THINK AGAIN.
defective product!threads are coming out of certain colors only, and only bought it about twon months ago, i put it in my living room and we are barely there...forthe price we paid one would expect a good quality product.
The rug is beautiful, and looks perfect where I placed it. The backing is pretty slippery for a kitchen floor, however.
I bought the same style of rug but a different shape. Went back to get a match, but the quality of the 60"X90" was very poor compared to the smaller one I had purchased for the hallway. Hallway one was thick and fluffy and the 60"X90" was thin and lighter in colored. Very disappointed.
The threads on several of the colored squares are coming out, and just on certain colors. Obviously, a defective product. Do not waste your time or money with this area rug.
Horrible rug - after only three months - the threads are falling out! Defective horrible product. I see the same for the smaller size. Target would not return this item. Gave me the number for Mohawk and said that it was my problem. Very unhappy! Do not buy!
Very soft, just the right size for our small hallway, and the style is awesome. We had to put down carpet grip so it wouldn't slide on our wooden floor tho, but one has to do that with any rug on a wooden floor.
I am so happy I did NOT read the reviews before I bought 2 of these rugs in the store. I have had them for 2 years without any problems. One is under the dining room table and the other is in my living room. I have had no problems whatsoever. I love the colors and everything about them. I am actually ordering one now for my den. You DO need to put rug pads under them to keep them in place, but this is no different from any other rug I've ever had.
