I ordered a small in woman's and I'm 5'4" and its a little long for me if you wear flats. I wish there was a regular line or a sizing chart available on their website. Targets the only website with no sizing option.
I purchased ten - 10! of these dresses last year. The colors are lovely and I had some hemmed for flats and some left long for wedges. A warm weather staple for sure! Now the dress has changed to a "V" neck front and back - I only like the front since when my hair is up I prefer my back not be on display and I see the items only in petite, maternity and plus, not regular. Target, please fix this! These are the BEST dresses - forgiving, flattering and COOL for Texas summers. I was on t he hunt for new colors this year, but will have to look elsewhere for now.
I ordered an XL in Soft Aqua and it's beautiful. I'm 5'4, 165 lbs, & 7 months pregnant. Great fit. Flows nicely. The only issue is that it's see through, you will have to wear something underneath the dress.
Let me say this first. I am a short, 5'4", plus size, 16, woman and it is usually so hard for me to find maxi dresses that are the right length, cover my arms, and don't look like a tent. These dresses, in the petite, are the PERFECT length for me. I never wear a completely flat shoe, so I can wear my 1/2" sandals and the dress will not drag on the ground. If you are shorter, you might need to take it up a bit. They are V-cut in the front and back, but the V in the back is not low enough to show a bra or cami. The fabic is jersey, but it is not thin. If you buy the lighter color, you may want to put compression shorts on underneath or just wear light colored undergarments. I bought 5 of these dresses and absolutely love them!!
The dress is very pretty and really soft but the only thing petite about it was the tag! Lucky for me, I had a friend hem it so I would not have to return it - she cut 8" off and I'm 5'3", so.........
I am not petite but this dress fits like a gem! I first bought this dress in a women's medium. It was too big in the chest and too long to wear flats and almost too long to wear wedges and I am 5'5. I decided to try it in a medium petite and it is perfect in those areas and just as flowy as the regular sized dress. I wish the black wasn't sold out or I would own it too! This is a great dress for women with hips!
I am 8 months pregnant but this dress will also be perfect after the baby. Super comfortable and flattering. I'm 5'4" and purchased the Medium and the length was fine with flats but a little short with wedges. I did buy 3 different colors but one seemed way longer than the others. Washes well and you can't beat the price. Overall, super happy with the quality and fit.

I ordered this in the regular size and I wish I would have ordered the petite. If you are 5'3" or shorter order the petite. Target needs sizing put on these dresses desperately! Other than that it is a perfect summer dress with something underneath bc the V neck is a little low for me!
