Absolutely in love with this tee, especially since I snagged a couple for [$] each at my local Target by combining this week's sale and Mossimo apparel coupons available on the site here. These are extremely soft and versatile, can be dressed way down or up. But as the reviews here clearly advise if you want a form fitting shirt, definitely go one or two sizes down. I bought a L and XL, as I usually wear a large and can never be too sure of the fit with junior sized clothing. I should have kn own better and tried one on at the store. It's a boyfriend fit - a bit big and slouchy. A good thing if you want to cover up more. But I should have bought a medium for layering. Oh well, guess I just gotta buy more... Happy shopping!!
I used to love love love these tees. I would buy one almost every time i went to Target, which is quite often. I loved the 100 cotton version but the 60/40 blend is just awful. It pills after one wash and the black, my fave and grey are see through! I have several of the 100 cotton boyfriend tees i bought almost 4 years ago that are still in great condition. Please, please, please bring back the quality cotton everyone seems to miss. I have warned many friends, family and even random fell ow Target shoppers of the lack of quality the pocket tees now have.
I loooved these shirts when they were 100 percent cotton, the fit was perfect and they wore SO well wash after wash. This new design fades and pills within a couple of washes which is horribly disappointing not to mention how tissue thin and cheaply made they feel. I ended up taking the 8 I bought a few months ago and donating them to the goodwill - sad face! I have boyfriend tees from 3 yrs ago that are STILL in really great condition- they were my favorite shirts, wore them almost every day a nd raved about them to everyone! But now I do the opposite and warn everyone about how the quality has taken a nosedive. I love you Target!! I give you so many of my monies!! Please bring back the old style, 100 percent cotton preshrunk boyfriend shirts. They were THE best. Sigh.
I am OBSESSED with this tee! It is by far my favorite basic tee I have ever had. It's a great length - long enough without being too long - and I love the V-neck. I have this shirt in gray, white, and black. I wear it to the gym, I wear it with skinny jeans, or I dress it up with leggings, a long necklace, and a blazer. It does run big so I would suggest ordering a size down. I'm 5'4, 125 lbs, and typically wear a medium but I wear a size small in this shirt. I personally think the V-neck is lo w enough without showing any cleavage but I can understand how on different chest sizes it can be too low. Layer it with a tank and it should be just fine. My only complaint is...PLEASE bring back the other colors!! [...]
I LOVE these shirts!! Comfortable, affordable, great color choices. Over the years I have bought several in every color! HOWEVER, the quality is not good!! True, you get what you pay for to a degree. But they are so nice looking and THEN you wash them, the pilling is bad, and they DO need to go back to the old blend or quality!!
The quality of material they use has gotten very cheap. I have been buying these T-shirts as wardrobe staples for a while now and I noticed that recently the quality has gotten very bad. I would rather spend 12-15 dollars on a shirt and not have it break down after 2 washes. 2 washes was all it took for it to start to pill and break down. Not to mention the black shirt is see through now. Bring back quality stuff. Are you listening Target? I want a shirt that doesn't break down in the wash er after two cycles.
I bought a couple of these over a year ago when they were 100 percent COTTON. Best every day tee ever! I was at Target last night and bought a couple more, thinking they were still the same good ol' Boyfriend Tee. I get home and try one on and it was AWFUL. Too tight, too hot, and way too see-through! I immediately took the shirt off and looked at the inside and saw that it's now only 60 percent cotton and 40 percent polyester! HUGE disappointment. The inside should have really said, &qu ot;Sorry. We here at Target decided to cheap out and make your shirt wearing experience highly uncomfortable and inappropriate." Thank you, Target, for letting me down. And ladies reading this- if this shirt is a five star to you, clearly you never tried this shirt when it was made right!
I wanted a basic black t....the shape of this top is pretty good. I like the length too, but the fabric is very, very bad. After a couple of washes, the whole shirt is kind of pilling. I would not recommend this t. Spend a little more money & get a different one because the low quality of fabric is not worth it.
This used to be a great tee when it was 100 percent cotton. Bought one yesterday and it was 60/40 cotton/poly and nowhere near as nice. Very disappointed as I could have worn the old tee every day! Not sure why they made this change.

I used to love these tees when the knit quality was much more durable. I would rave to everyone that this was the best basic tee out there, period. Now it is a poor tissue quality, sheer, and cheap. I would not recommend to anyone anymore. I would rather pay 10-12 bucks to get the old t-shirt back! I love the fit but can't stand the quality anymore. I know cotton prices went up but come on Target, pay a little more and keep your customers! I'm begging you! Hope your design team reads th is!
