Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these! Bought these for my my 4 and 7 year old boys to play with. Perfect for inside and outside and great quality for the price. So much better than the toy ones. Radius has been tested to 1 mile so far and the reception is clear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great gift for children Clear sound and small enough for little and big hands. My children tore them out of the package and have played with them everyday.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Misleading Description Nice little radios, but the product description is misleading. The description above clearly states that no FCC license is required, but that is only true for 8 of the 22 channels this radio works on. After reading the instruction manual and seeing where it states that an FCC license is required I decided to do a little research into the matter. Channels 1-7 and 15-22 require an FCC GMRS license because of the higher power (watts) they transmit on. Only channels 8-14 can be used license free. The penalty for use without a license is also steep, $10,000/violation. Game wardens and park rangers in my area are reporting violations. Buyer beware.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Motorola Two-Way Radio These radios are great! What I loved most is the range that these could cover. (though around me I was not able to get coverage that far due to the terrain), but even more so was the overall small size of the radios themselves. They are easy to be able to carry these in pockets radios are clear, All-in-all these are great radios that the whole family, both young and old can enjoy! I recommend Buying a Ni-Cd/Ni-MH Battery charger. For Rechargeable Batteries.SO you don't have to keep buying standard AAA batteries.
