Celebrating traditional Italian songs (both folk- and opera-based), Music Song from Italy is a 25-track collection of some of the more famous pieces that fall into this category, including "La Donna è Mobile," "Santa Lucia," "Funiculi, Funicula," and "Vieni Sul Mar." The instrumentation on the album sticks mostly to the accordion-guitar combination that is commonly heard (or at least commonly perceived to be heard) on narrow Italian streets (or the large, tourist-filled piazzas), but it's pretty fun, and the songs, if not already recognizable, will stick in your head pretty quickly, and more than that, make you want to catch the next flight to Rome or Naples as soon as possible.
