Ninja Blender - Black product details page

I have a recipe that calls specifically for a VitaMix but I can't afford one. I have burnt up many blenders making this soup and when I saw the Ninja, I had faith that it would handle the job. It did and did it flawlessly! It blended up 4 whole onions, 6 zucchini, 3 whole Leeks and a cup of whole, raw cashews. The vegetables had been cooking on low in a little bit of liquid for a short amount of time. They were a little soft but still burnt up my other blenders when I tried to do this. The larg e capacity made easy work of the soup as well. I was able to do the soup in larger batches. I am super thrilled and highly recommend the Ninja Blender if you are considering a VitaMix.

At first I was so excited to get my new blender after all Ive seen on the internet about it. I watched it crush ice in seconds. Once I brought it home, I instantly loved it. I made frappes and it crushed ice like no ones business. Once I tasted it, it was like eating a melted crunchy frappe mixed with a grainy snocone. I tried making a green smoothie and it barely touched the spinach. There were large chunks floating in my drink and it was watery. I tried for a long time changing the recipes to work with the blender. Nothing worked. I tried and wished I loved my blender. But I just couldnt. [...]

I just bought my Ninja blender earlier today and made some smoothies with it when I got home, and they turned out perfect. I had purchased one of the Oster blenders, but returned it because the contents I tried to blend would just get stuck in the bottom. That certainly did not happen with the Ninja! I used to manage a Coldstone Creamery and can honestly say that the Ninja works substantially better than the industrial blenders we had at the store. I'm very pleased with this blender so far and definitely think it is worth the price!

Good stuff considering its price, and great for people "on the go." I researched a lot of blenders before buying it, and this one seemed to be right on the spot -considering the reviews from different sources and its cost. When it comes to its performance, I use it usually twice daily to make fruit and vegetable smoothies. It does its job well, and I'm satisfied. You don't have to cut vegetables or fruits too much before putting it in the blender, so it saves time. The only negative t hing I'm noticing so far is that it's fairly loud and sometimes (rarely) the vegetables or fruits get stuck in the top when the container is filled up. I'm still a bit afraid to let it run longer than 30 seconds (probably because of bad experiences with other blenders before) but slowly letting go of past conventions. It washes very well, so the cleaning is a breeze. Overall, I would highly recommend this blender.

blender does everything it says it will do. it is a bit loud and you must pay attention to how the lid fits to keep from breaking it and in order to operate it. it is not an "open and go" must read instructions to operate. crushes ice, mixes frozen fruit into smoothies well. have had it 2 months and used it daily so it is wearing well. blades are SHARP.

This blender is used every day in my house, and it does so many things that our previous blenders - Oster and GE - would never have managed. It's even better than the Swedish blender I bought for [$] when I lived in Europe! I think it's the triple layer of blades that makes the difference here. They seem to really expedite the process and make the blending of frozen fruit and ice cubes manageable. We use it for green smoothies, hummus, chopping vegetables, pureeing soups, making oat flour, and it really handles everything very well. Obviously the longer you leave it in, the smoother your mixture will be. I know a lot of people recommend the Vitamix or Blendtec, but if you are not able or willing to shell out the [$] for those appliances, this blender works wonderfully for a variety of purposes for a price that is doable for most people.

I have only used it a few times so far, but have definitely put it through things that my regular blender couldn't handle. I love that the blades go up the pitcher instead of only at the bottom, it definitely helps to keep the mixing more uniform and reduces any chunks that would be left in an old style blender. I also like that if something breaks, they sell the parts individually on their product website, if you lose one thing, you don't have to replace the whole set! Very nice! I would def initely recommend this to anyone looking to get a good quality blender, the cost is relatively close if not even more economical than some of the higher end standard models.

I've had this blender for about 6 months and so far it's meeting all my needs- smoothies, soups, whatever. I haven't had any problems with ice as some other reviewers have mentioned- I think maybe they just didn't do it right. The only thing that took a bit of getting used to was the lid. I've always have "regular" blenders where you can take off the top any way you like. Having to push a little button all the time was different, but no set back. I tell anyone who wants a blender to i nvest in this. It's powerful- it will liquify anything. Sturdy- the base isn't going to dance across the counter if you put it on high. And clean up is easy. If you want a great blender, this is the way to go.

I've always wanted a Vita-mix blender. But they are so expensive[...]This is a great alternative until I brake down and purchase a Vita-Mix. This is by far better than any other conventional blender I've used. The only thing is that when blending fruits and vegetables my smoothies, turn out more like "gritties", but I don't mind the little bits of fruits and veggies in my drinks. Would recommend if you're on the market for a blender to use to make smoothies.

I was willing to try this blender instead of springing for a Vitamix and I'm glad I did. While it has limited settings,1,2, and 3, it does everything I need it to. I use it several times a week, and even used it for an outdoor block party where it was used to make several batches of mixed drinks and frozen lemonade and it came out great every time. I love it and recommend it to everyone instead of a Vitamix! The blends ice, fruit, frozen fruit, and anything else I have thrown at it. I had a few troubles getting the blade to line up correctly with the lid, but it just required some readjusting of the blade. Highly recommend.
