Family Child Care Provide
This was easy to assemble. The seat padding looks a little odd compared to all of the exersaucers I have owned over the years. It comes up a little higher and I wasn't sure how well it would work with a baby in the seat. It was absolutely fine and may have even added a little more back and neck support for the little one.
I run a family child care and have missed the early versions of the exersaucers. All of the new ones are so flimsy and the toys come off too easily. That is a problem when the toddlers in my program keep pulling them off to play with them!
I was a little skeptical about the bouncy pad bottom. I had seem some of the newer bouncers like this in stores and just wasn't impressed with the quality. I took a chance based on the reviews of this product. There was only one here on Target but I checked out many sites before ordering it. I even looked at the official product site.
So here are the pros- This was very easy to put together. I love that there a lot of toys that do a lot of different things. The colors are bright and cheery. There is a dash of purple here and there to make it more "girly" if one is looking for that. The toys are sooooo cute! There is an oball that turns and has a flashing light at the base. It also has a little rattle inside with tiny balls that makes a nice sound that is NOT annoying! There are two toys (as mentioned in the other review) that don't do anything. However- the baby loves them. The mane on the lion looks is soft plastic like wiry things. The baby loves holding onto the mane. The Giraffe has the same type of thing going up and down its neck. It isn't as swirly so it has a different texture for the baby to explore. There is an arch with oballs on rings on it for the baby to move up and down. There is a small 3 note piano that makes music and sounds. It has a reflective surface that the baby enjoys as well. There is a little ball popper that will be easy for the baby to use when he gets a little older. Right now he loves when I get it going for him. There is another arch with a multi color stacking toy. The toddlers love playing with that when they are visiting the baby. I know they baby will love that too as he grows. That is another pro- there is plenty for the baby to do now and as he grows. He won't get bored with this as he grows. I also like that the toys act as a sort of barrier between the baby and older kids. The baby can see out fine but he has a little protection from loving hands!
Lastly, the toys can be removed fairly easily by an adult but the toddlers can't pull any of them off.
There are two rings that can be used to attach other toys. I haven't added anything to this yet but it will be a nice feature down the road. There is also a small tray for snacks. I don't give the babies snacks in toys like this but it is there if you are looking for that feature.
The bouncy pad seems to be fine. It is sturdy but the baby isn't really bouncing too much yet. His almost 2 year old brother has tried to climb under it and it has supported him before I had the chance to remove him!!!!!

Overall my son loves this and he is only 4 months old. He stays entertained in it and has lots of lights and moveable parts. My only issue is the the loin and giraffe do not move and he always reaches for them, but they do not do anything!
