Rated 5 out of 5 by from works well This waffle maker is pretty simple. It cleans up nicely and worked well. It heated up quickly and cooked through. I used it to make hashbrowns, eggs, and an omelet and each thing was great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for the money Great for the price. Made 18 sweet potato pancakes right of the box perfectly.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible, I don't get it! This is my second Oster waffle maker and they have both worked horribly. My waffles get stuck to the pan, even with non-stick spray! Happens every time. Disappointed to say the least. :(

Rated 5 out of 5 by from xoxo Oster Waffle Maker Love waffles but hate paying the overprice at good breakfast restaurants so opted for this low price waffle maker. Have been using it regularly for the last year and love it. Look forward to making waffles once or twice a week - with my own healthy receipes like sweet potato gluten free flour, flax and chia seed, cinnamon, benefiber, egg, olive oil, water and maybe some blueberries. As I am gathering, I plug it in so it gets really hot. Green light goes on Then pour the batter. When the green light goes back on - I unplug - DO NOT OPEN - let it rest and sit for 2 - 3 minutes while it keeps steaming - then whoola - perfect waffles. It took a few trys to get my batter down perfect. And don't forget adding the oil - or it might stick. This was my best investment this year as for pennies on the dollars I am saving what I would have spent to go out for waffles - and my version is so much healthier. xoxo Oster waffle maker

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So far, so good Have only used twice so far, but it is as expected. In retrospect, though, I wish I would have gotten an "old style" that makes four SQUARE waffles.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Meh Read the reviews, bought it anyway. It only makes the back half "kinda" brown. Front half only warms up. But it was only $20 so I can't complain.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from waffle maker I gave this waffle maker a 3 because it takes forever to brown. I set it at the max browning then sit down a wait at least 10 minutes to 15 minutes check it and it is finally brown. When I check it the first time the green light turns on the color is a pale color like a raw waffle.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Waffle Novice I had no expectations since the only time I have made my own waffles was at hotel continental breakfasts. This waffle maker is well worth the $20. It seemed to take a bit longer to cook than I would have liked. But again I have never made waffles at home before so I do not know if the cooking time was just normal. When the waffles are done I flipped them over so the bottom side was facing up. The bottom side has a very even finish and the top side cooks a little more unevenly. This was not noticed when we ate the waffles, just a visual difference. I would recommend this waffle maker to any novice waffle makers.
