Philips Wi-Fi Blu-ray Disc Player - Black (BDP2105/F7) is rated 1.7887 out of 5 by 71.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Absolutely Terrible I was using the Netflix feature with wireless internet and it worked horribly. I figured it was just because it was running with a wireless connection. So i hardwired it to the modem and it didn't get any better. The whole player freezes up constantly to the point that i have to unplug it. About the only thing it does do decently is play blu rays and even then its only half way decent. All and all if i hadn't gotten this player as a gift i would be furiously demanding my money back. Absolutely terrible

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Terrible at streaming Netflix I purchased this wifi player solely for playing Netflix. The Netflix version is outdated on the player's software or hardware and Philips couldn't assist me over the phone. Netflix would freeze after 15 min of viewing and would have to be "deactivated" from the player and reloaded. Serious pain in the rear. Keep in mind that NO other device (tablet, wii, wii u, smartphone, etc.) in my home has ANY problem playing Netflix... I cannot attest to the actual blu-ray playing part because I never put a disc in it. I returned it, but had to get store credit since it was past the normal return time. Just glad they let me return it at all, I guess!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't even think about buying this piece of junk! Barely works 1/8 of the time. Lags when you push buttons to operate on both unit and remote, lags while playing media or on wifi, random loss of audio, unit will not power off and has to be unplugged. The absolute worst electronic device I have ever experienced and I mean out of every single electronic device ever!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Picture Quality vs Cost The unit is a little slow starting up but it performs as expected and the picture/sound quality is good.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible product I wouldn't recommend buying this. It came with no cords whatsoever and the quality is very poor.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from If you have trouble connecting to the network try this... I was having trouble connecting to Netflix, YouTube, etc even though it said I was connected to the network. Turns out my "guest" wireless connection was not strong enough or something, even though, again, it said "connected". I had also tried to connect to my "main" wireless (Linksys) connection but could not because my wireless password had zeroes in it, and I had trouble getting the zeroes to display while entering the password. Turns out the remote control keypad "0" key has to be hit twice to select/enter the number zero (and only once for space i.e. "_") even though it lists space then zero on the remote button, if that makes sense. Once I got the password entered correctly for my main wireless connection (instead of the Guest wireless connection), it worked fine.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This product would be good if it worked Got my DVD player it turns on great... Plays a DVD great.. Simple to hook it up by WI FI and it connects. great.. to bad it wouldn't go the rest of the way and actually work. It shows it connected but it will not connect to anything.. Not very impressed with this at all... Do your self a favour and don't get this.
