We've had this set for over two years, use the bowls and lids almost daily, and they still look new. Easy to clean. The lids are great for going from serving food to storing food in a flash!

I absolutely love Pyrex's storage. The lids fit nicely and can handle multiple trips to the fridge. As well, I feel comfortable using the glass dishes in the microwave with anything including tomato sauce as it doesn't stain or melt like plastic. I even send the smaller dishes with my husband's lunch to work. Pyrex is my first choice!

The Pyrex Round 6-pc Storage bowls are exactly as described - the solid glass is heavy, i.e. difficult to break, and the blue plastic tops snap on snugly. I use them for refrigerator as well as freezer food storage, and am pleased with the dependable seal in both instances. They nest within eachother with the tops, as well, for minimal stoage space. I ordered a matching 7-cup bowl separately - so I wish they had expanded this to a 4 or 5 bowl matching set. I'd recommend them to anyone.

It really is a very good means of storage and serves as lunch box too. Easy for clean up and use.

My mother has a set of these bowls and I knew that I wanted the very same ones when I got married. I use these bowls very frequently. They are great for cooking veggies in the microwave and if there are leftovers I can just pop on the lid and stick it in the fridge! They are a great upgrade from plastic because they are just as durable and you don't have to worry about melting them in the microwave. I will admit I have dropped mine on more than one occasion and they have not sustained the sligh test chip or large scratch. The smallest bowl is great for sauces or flavored butter (which I like to make a lot). The largest bowl is my favorite for the microwave and the medium bowl is great for that strange amount of leftovers we all seem to have sometimes or to just toss in a lunch box. The lids seal very well and I have no concerns about leakage.Take note that these are not meant to be work bowls for major cooking. This is more of a storage or a quick spin in the microwave type product. I would not recommend this product if you are looking for glass mixing bowls (however, pyrex does have some great glass bowls with a gripping bottom that I LOVE). This is a product I use frequently myself and I know any cook would love a set or two of these in his or her kitchen!

I love these Pyrex Storage containers with blue lids. They make appropriate serving dishes for a routine home dinner and the lids have super grip abilities. They can be put in a cooler for transporting with no fear of leaking. Extremely tight seal. And, true to the ads, they can withstand the oven, the microwave, and my freezer. I love them and have ended up buying several sets of different shapes. All are great.

I'm sure you collect those empty tubs, just like we do. And just like everyone else we know does. Sometimes you need a little container for the leftovers or the sauce. Sometimes it needs to go in the freezer, and sometimes it needs to go in the lunch bag.First off, it's Pyrex. Some of the Pyrex my guy and I have is older than we are and it still looks and works great. I trust these bowls will last as long. I can't speak for the lids, but they are soft enough that they handle pulling on and off gracefully.

I purchased this set of bowls for a bridal shower gift. They were a little smaller than I expected, but they were nice.

Like the other reviewer, I too prefer glass, esp for the ease of being able to reheat. The lids are a little tricky to seal, but once they are on, they are on, though I haven't yet tried to transport anything with a lot of liquid. I have used these bowls for hot and cold items and have found that another perk is that they are nice enough to use as serving dishes, the lids making clean up a breeze. These were part of my wedding registry and something I would recommend for everyone's registry!

I love that it's glass and you don't have to worry quite as much about chemicals released when you reheat in it. I use it to bring lunch to work and it's sorta heavy to be carrying back and forth because it's glass, but I feel it's worth it in this case. As well, I don't feel 100% secure with the lid so I don't like to keep it on it's side, in case slight liquids might spill. Other than this, it's a really good product and I highly recommend it.
