Gabby Gorgeous in Person but I would like a wider band - The marble design is even nicer in person. In the description it does mention that the “vein” in the marble pattern will vary by each piece. This one had a bit of brown blended into a few black lines on one section, which to me gives it a sort of animal print vibe. I love that! On another section of the ring it is mostly white with just a few smears of light gray. The uniqueness of each piece could definitely give you different looks depending on how you want to rotate it or if you’re wearing lighter or darker colors that day. If you are between sizes, I would size up unless you prefer a more snug fit. The silicone is very soft and smooth and grips well to the skin when dry or wet. It’s very lightweight, and even with soapy hands or lotion you don’t have to worry about it sliding off unintentionally, like with a metal wedding ring. Also, the stock photo online shows a “Q” embossed on the exterior of the ring, but this one doesn’t have that on the exterior, just QALO 6 is embossed on the interior. I went with this ring because I wanted a wider ring like I’m used to, and the men’s rings are really the width that I would prefer, however they don’t come in my size. Got this in a size 6, and the details for all sizes say that the ring is 7 mm wide. That may be for the larger size 7, 8 or I don’t know. The box says that it is 6.5 mm wide, 1.8 mm thick and has a tensile strength of 32 lbs. Target may want to update the details. If this were in other marble effect colors all as well, that would be really nice, like a soft pink/white/rose gold marble, a cream/brown/gold marble, a black/white/gold marble etc. Just like with my normal wedding ring, I would not keep this one on if I were to be putting my hands in raw meat or seasonings as my personal preference. Silicone is porous and can sometimes stain or absorb odors. That has been my experience with various silicone spatulas. I have not tested it out to see how easily it will stain with something like turmeric, curry or tomato sauce, but I don’t plan to. If you plan on doing so, the all black silicone ring might be a better option. As an FYI, if you do find your ring absorbing orders and you want to remove them, I have had success removing stains & odors from silicone spatulas by soaking them for a few minutes in vinegar OR a diluted bleach solution. And for anyone who doesn’t already know, be sure never to mix those two ingredients.
