Recaro ProRide Convertible Car Seat is rated 4.9018 out of 5 by 112.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Satisfied A couple reasons why it wasn't a 5 star. There is no cup holder. Some online images showed a cup holder, and even in the instruction manual the images show a cup holder. Also it's quit big and heavy. Which I guess is good and bad. It makes you feel like you got your moneys worth and that it's safe. But switching from vehicle to vehicle is quit difficult. Otherwise no complaints. Easy to adjust harnesses. My daughter is 11 months, still rear facing. She does sit up higher so the sun is more of an issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top quality, great purchase! After extensive research on which careseat would work best for us, we decided on the Recaro proRIDE. Having only heard and read great things about this car seat was a huge factor in our purchase. We have a fairly small crossover... a 2014 Jeep Compass and we were unsure how it would fit rear facing in our vehicle. Having enough leg room for the front passenger was a pretty big deal for my 5'8" husband. It took the two of us to install, and we ran into a problem with the latch belts not being long enough to use rear facing with our vehicle. So far that has been the only issue, but once our daughter is front facing it shouldn't be an issue. Despite our car being being on the smaller side as far as back seats go, the fit is great! There's enough room for my husband and I to sit in the front passenger seat without our knees hitting the glovebox (there is about a 2" gap between my husbands knees and the glovebox). There definitely wouldn't be enough room to fit 3 passengers including the car seat in the back, but that isn't an issue for us The quality of the car seat is better than many I have seen in my research. I love that you can take the covers off and wash them, which isn't a common feature from what I've seen. I feel safe knowing that my daughter is all snug inside her car seat now. Her head doesn't flop all over like it did in her infant seat, yet she still can look out the window and enjoy the view. The fact that you just turn a knob to adjust the shoulder straps is a very convenient feature as well! Overall I think that the Recaro proRIDE was a great purchase! And I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a car seat. It seems like a very sound investment!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic seats of unparalleled quality I bought two ProRIDES for my twins several years ago. I am continually impressed with their craftsmanship, durability and comfort. Once, we rented seats along with our rental car and had an opportunity to really see the difference ourselves in the padding and comfort, especially since the rental seats had no side impact wings. Our kids couldn't sleep comfortably with their poor heads bent nearly to their shoulders. It was apparent, too, there was little or no protection for them in essentially what was just a plastic tub with a flimsy fabric covering and a harness. That was the last time we traveled without our own seats! Remember, too, that when you buy a Recaro seat, you're employing an American somewhere who works in an American facility, which in turn, strengthens the economy for all of us.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great comfort This was the best seat we purchased my daughter status quite while in this seat. The other seat we had was a britax and she would always cry to get out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best Why buy anything else when you can put life's most priceless person in you life in a seat that is manufactured by a company that makes seats for cars that save life's of race car drivers going 200 mph??? Can't think of anything? Either can I. The quality, ease of use and safety features make this a must have brand for my family.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love Recaro Products I'm a big fan of recaro products - we drive a minivan and this fits our car fine. Also, we like the fact that cars are easy to install and seem to be very safe! Company also has a good reputation!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the seat! This seat was the most comfortable of all the seats that my six year old has gone through. We got this seat when he was four months old and had gotten too tall for his infant seat. He was VERY tall. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to rearface in this seat but about a year and we weren't ready to turn him around so we got another higher limit seat to keep him rearfacing longer. He wasn't as comfortable and no longer slept in the car. Once we turned him around we put him back in this seat and again he would sleep in the car. Unfortunately, he, again, outgrew this seat well before we were ready for a booster. The ONLY thing I would change about this seat is the height limits. But, to be fair, our son was REALLY tall from birth.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic, and easy to use. We bought ours because our son deserved better. The ease at which you can use this is incredible. Quick adjustments, easy to pass through seat belt slot. Even a seat belt clamp, for if you dont have locking seatbelts. Quick adjust for the shoulders. We have had to swap our car seats in the past, but this takes it to a whole new level. It has slots for storing the anchors, but the anchors are much easier to use than our old seat. I cant see using any other car seat.
