I agree with the other comments pertaining to this rug. It is just what I was looking for my son's room. The color, pattern and texture are all great, BUT, it stinks!!!! It smells musty or like it's been sitting in an antique store, but the smell will not go away. I called Target.com to determine as to why the awful smell that won't air out and after several calls, Target.com says they cannot help me becuase the Threshold brand rug by Target Corp is made in India. So, that's the end of it. I'm returning the rug. Terrible rug and terrible customer serivce.

I ordered the surf color and it is perfect for my room! The color is very accurate here on the website photo. The rug is soft and feel very nice under-foot. Some new rugs have the attendancy to smell bad right when you first open them but this one really doesn't have too much of a smell. Thanks Target! Now if only they had a round version...
I ordered this rug for my sons nursery. I was a little worried with reading some of the past reviews about rug smells...but I had absolutely no experience with any odor at all. It shipped safely and was wrapped nicely....unrolled nicely and looks fantastic on my carpeted floors. Its very expensive looking and I couldnt be happier with my purchase!
I ordered the surf color in 7x10 and I love it. The color is very soft and not bright at all. It didn't smell at all. I rolled it out and it looks fantastic. It's soft and durable. I would recommend this to anyone.

Not as bright as it looked on my computer, which was actually a relief. Looked good in our family room but it was dirty when it arrived. The white on all of the edges was obviously dirty, as if it had been dragged around in the warehouse and then shipped or returned. [...] Returned it to our local Target store and they took it back, no problem. Even got my shipping back. Really liked it but I am worried to order it again for fear it will be dirty again. Vacuums clean very well, but our tile grout indentation pattern could be seen through the rug because it is not that thick.
This rug looks fantastic in my son's nursery--it really makes an impact. I ordered the green color in the 7' x 10' size. I did not have any issues with smell or cleanliness that other reviewers mentioned.
This is a great rug. I agree with the other reviewers that the rug smelled when I first pulled it out of the bag. But I just waited for a sunny day and unrolled it outside for a day. The smell was gone by the time I brought it inside. It looks great in my nursery. The green color is a wonderful apple green that really pops. Great rug at a great price!

I was a little leery of ordering this online, sight unseen, but am so so pleased with it. I ordered the gray and it's true to color on the site. I was surprised that it was higher quality than I thought. I didn't have any issues with a smelly rug. It looks perfect in my baby's nursery!
