I read the reviews before buying this and almost didn't. I am SO glad I decided to try it anyway. We have a small shower stall with 10' ceilings in our master bath. I was so sick of various bottles cluttering up what little foot space there was so tried this out of pure desperation. That was two months ago and it has been PERFECT. Not one shelf has dropped and I even have a few heavy warehouse-sized bottles together on one shelf. The rubber rings hold well, just make sure you slide the shelf casing completely over them. You can arrange however you choose, we stuck the towel rack down at the bottom to hold puffs and used the soap shelf for my razor and cream. The extension bar provides plenty on tension to go from the little top ledge of the shower pan to the ceiling with no problems. LOVE IT!
Single worst product I have purchased in a LONG time! I am an Ikea furniture pro and it took me forever to try and make heads or tails of these ridiculous directions. Trying to get this thing to stay up after was a joke. Horrible product. I will be returning this on my very next Target trip.
Just tried to put this together and the quality is terrible. It can barely withstand any tension before the spring, which is held it by a bend in the tube, slips and becomes jammed. Do not buy. Going to return and go to bed bath and beyond and pay a little more for better quality.
Hard to build and bad instructions, check Rusting terribly, check Worth the money, no. way. Do yourself a favor and purchase something made of sturdier stuff. We put 2 in our shower. We have 3 girls with lots of product and while this style caddy works beautifully to keep things organized, they are rusting so badly that we will be looking to replace in the next six months, less than one year after purchase.
I was so tired of having bottles all over my bathroom so I got this to put in my bath/shower. After an hour of trying to put it together with the poorly diagramed and written instructions....bottom of "B"... [...] I try to put it in my shower and it doesn't fit. The box says it fits showers and baths 5-9 feet. Let me tell you, it doesn't. I thought it was going to punch a hole through my ceiling the tension was so high. I took one of the "C" poles off and thought maybe I could do that. Nope. Then the B pole fell apart and the spring came out...bent from trying to jam it in. After an hour and a half of wrestling with it I gave it and boxed it back up. It's going back to the store. It's really nice looking, but what a nightmare.
I bought this to replace a several year old shower caddy that was rusting. I was able to assemble it without difficulty but had trouble getting the tension right in our shower until my husband helped me. It looks great but the O-rings do not hold the baskets up well. The bottom basket on mine spins freely and will not stay up where I put it. It says on the box that 2 extra O-rings are included but mine did not have any extra rings that might have solved the problem. It would have been a go od purchase had it worked. [...]
We tried twice to put this thing together even after watching a YouTube video on tension rods, not the same product mind you, and we could not get the product to work in our bath tub. Back to the store it goes!
So I didn't expect fine craftsmanship when spending [$] on a shower rod but didn't think Target would belittle themselves by selling something so poorly built and designed, not to mention how miserable the directions were. It's clear to me that they don't mind becoming a modern day [retailer]. Should've read the reviews before buying but not worth the gas to drive back to return it. If I knew then what I know now, I would've gone next door to [retailer]. Oh well.
Very nice looking shower caddy but the shelves keep sliding down on top of each other. If this did not happen, I would love it! Purchased the unit 3 days ago and already took it down. I plan on returning it.

The worst item I have ever purchased [...] It says on the box "fits most showers 5 to 9 feet high". WRONG! Once you start assembling it, you realize that it only fits showers within a narrow range of heights. Chintzy construction, the O-rings to hold the baskets up are so flimsy, the baskets constantly slip down the pole, a nightmare to assemble... I could go on and on. Save yourself the money, time, and frustration, and go get a much better product at Bed, Bath, and Beyond.
