Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Way off!! Took my babies temp because she was feeling really warm and it read 96.8 constantly!! Didn't trust it so i decided to take my daughter to the ER and her temp was 101!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't read temp accurately Consistently read temperature was lower than it was. We actually bought two overall because we assumed the first one must have been a lemon, but no. Even took it to the pediatrician's office to compare methods and the temp they found, and sure enough it was way off! Kind of scary that people may be relying on this!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the Job This is a reasonably priced thermometer that does the job just fine. I've had no problems when taking my baby's temperature with it, although I've only had to use it twice. Still not worth the [$], but it works fine!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from inaccurate I bought this thermometer for my infant. It consistently gives reads 2 degrees below a reasonable human's body temperature when used in the underarm. I tested it under my own tongue and it will give me different (low) temperatures each time.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stopped working after 3 months I used this about 10 times and it was accurate (compared with a pacifier thermometer). However, after only 3 months worth of use, it looks like it is either broke or the battery is dead. This is disappointing given the limited amount of use. I just emailed the mfg since they did not have a copy of the product manual on their website (would have given them 2 stars if they did - then I wouldn't be left wondering what is the error message frozen on the screen.)
