First, to address some of the 1, 2 and 3 star reviews. These trailers are quite obviously a trailer first and a stroller second. They are not designed to be an everyday stroller. Do not purchase any of these small front wheel convertible trailers expecting it to replace any stroller in your stable. If you wish to ride your bike to the local market then slap the front wheel on so you can walk with the kids still in the trailer, this will work superbly. Next, the descriptions and packaging clearl y state that the universal hitch mount will fit MOST bikes. Nothing is truly universal. It may require some slight modification to fit your bike. I have installed 4 of these mounts with no problems at all 2 on Giant bikes, 1 Mongoose and 1 Specalized. Now for my review. I first purchased the $90 instep model from Target. This quickly got returned as the harness system was entirely inadequate. I then purchased the Instep Sierra from [...] The Sierra had upgraded true 5 point adjustable height harnesses and well supported padded seats. Unfortunately this arrived damaged and therefore I returned it. I had seen this Schwinn trailer in Target right after I ordered the Sierra. For an extra $10 I decided to check this model out before exchanging the one from [....] WHAT A FIND!!This model has the same seats and harnesses as the Sierra. It also has an aluminum frame and bigger alloy wheels for a whopping 12 lbs less weight than the Sierra. 12 lbs may not seem like much but when towing this uphill it will be noticeable. The quick release wheels are a much better design than on the lower cost Instep. Unless you are going to be using a trailer everyday or under harsh conditions this Schwinn trailer will be fantastic for you.

I have been researching bike trailers for over a year now since my youngest son was born and I knew from all of my research that I wanted a Schwinn because the quality shined over the rest, especially with the spoked wheels for a smooth ride. This trailer was so easy to assemble. I attached it to my new Schwinn Cruiser and off we went. My baby LOVES IT and so does his Mamma! The 5-point safety restraints are a bonus, as my son seems to be able to get out of everything, but hasnt been able get o ut of these. I'm so glad I waited on the Schwinn trailer instead of purchasing a cheaper brand. My niece has a cheaper brand for her kids and it's very clunky, but not our Schwinn, it's smooth sailing! [...] I'm not really a jog-person, but I tried it and it seemed to work fine to me. Maybe they didnt assemble it properly. I'm not sure, but it's awesome as far as a bike trailer! We pack a small cooler, picnic supplies, blankets and my son fits comfortably and off to the park we go! I can't say enough great things about this trailer. It folds down easily for storage too. I highly recommend this trailer!!!

Had to write this review for people looking at these trailers and wondering if it has this or that not listed in the product driscription or answered in other reviews.Does the trailer hookup to bikes with Quick Release skewers and/or bolt on hubs? (Yes)Is there pockets or extra room for childrens helmets so there helmet isn't pushed over there face? (yes, but 2yrs and younger my still have issues do to how high the pocket netting is.)Does the Trailer have shocks? (Not that i can see)Does the tr ailer have locking wheels? (Yes, a locking bar in the rear)Does the trailer have drink holders for the kids inside? (yes, one on each side)Does the Trailer come with a flag? (Yes)Is this the same as the Schwinn spirit found at the other retail store? (from what i seen Yes and No)The spirit is using the same frame and rear wheels but has cheaper plastic front wheel, less cushion padding for the kids, and cheaper grip on the handle.)Hope this helps people, so far its been a great trailer for my daughter.

I bought this trailer last week, and have taken my two sons (ages 1 and almost 4) for a couple of rides. It was very easy to put together, and once I was able to get the nut off my bike, it was easy to attach. My boys fit well in there (my older son is tall, and we've had no problems with the harness straps), and despite the fact that their combined weight is 60lbs, it was very easy to pull, thanks to the 20-inch wheels. I'm glad that the seat is well-padded, and not the sling style, which forc es them into the middle of the seat. I have not tried to use it as a stroller, so I can't comment on that aspect of it. All in all, this is a great trailer for a great price!

This is my first bike trailer but I am already in love. My boys are 5 & 2 and impossible to exercise with at home. If I get on the ground to do a crunch I get power slammed, elbowed or ridden like a horse. This trailer was easy to put together & attach to my bike. When riding I couldn't even tell they were behind me. Very light and easy to steer, easy going on and off curbs & maneuvering. It is easy for cars to see us with it's reflectors and flag. There is a great amount of storage space behind the seats. It is not intended to be used as a jogging stroller it serves it's purpose if you have to detach the bike temporarily. I did research first and this one had the biggest wheels and the best seat for the kids. My 5 yo is about 42" tall and his head is at the top and doesn't have much leg room so he probably won't fit it next year. It was a great purchase as I got it on clearance. We will be going for bike rides everyday for as long as the boys fit in it!

I bought this trailer 4 months ago. I hated the jogging wheel from the beginning. When I called customer service, they said "That's just the way it is." I should have returned it right then, but I didn't. I have used it as a bike trailer only all summer and the kids love it. My problem is it is only 4 months old and the fabric is already pulling away in two seam areas! Do not buy this!!!!

This trailer is so easy to assemble for either the bike trailer or jogging stroller. Pops up in minutes and wheels snap on and off quickly. inside is designed for either 1 or 2 children and is comfortable to tow behind our bikes.

Have been using this trailer for about 10-15 miles per day and it is a dream. My 42 and 34lb. sons have no problem sitting in it and never complain about being uncomfortable. There is plenty of storage in the back and has held up great. I am 110 lbs. and had no problem pulling them behind my bike. It is very smooth and easy to manuever. would highly recommend!

I just bought a new bike so I did not want to also spend a ton on a new child trailer. I will admit that, until now, I had never used a trailer and I did not test drive any before my purchase, but I read through a lot of reviews of trailers at this price point and lower. This was the only one that did not get criticized for cheap materials, uncomfortable ride, or difficulty putting together. So far, my research has proven correct. The materials seem sturdy, my son loves to ride in it, and it is fairly easy to connect to my bike and to collapse and put back together. The other great thing is that it weighs only 24 lbs., much less than any other trailer in this price range. Someone in another review complained about a lack of storage space. There is storage space and I would say it is enough for our needs. I would think storing tons of stuff in the trailer would just end up weighing it down. My only concern is the harness. My son is on the smaller side of a 4 and a half year-old. The harness works fine for him now, but if he is still riding in it a year from now, I have some concern that the harness straps may not be long enough even after making appropriate adjustments.
