I have dandruff, which is caused by an itchy scalp. I had previously been using [...] shampoo, but that wasn't working for me so I decided to switch to Selsum. This shampoo had a very clean scent to it. It has a tingling sensation on the scalp which helps sooth the itch. I don't really enjoy the consistancy of this product. It feels like a gel when you put it on your hands, so it's quite difficult to rub it on your scalp and work it in. It also doesn't lather well. It does help curb the itchine ss of the scalp, but it doesn't get all the dandruff off. I can go one or two days with a clean feeling scalp, but then it gets extremely itchy again. It also doesn't leave my hair feeling good. It feels dry, but I use a moisturizing conditioner, which takes care of that problem. So overall, this works, but there are just a few things I could live without. I will finish the bottle, but once I'm done, I think I'm going to switch to their original formula in hope of better results.
