We purchased the parchment color. We have white molding, and white pearly furniture and it looks great together. We scotch guarded it right out of the box and have had no issues. Assembly was easy, but the frame doesn't square up, there are gaps between the foot board and the sideboards. I bought this bed for my toddler, so we put a mattress on the bed with no box spring. We had to put 1x6's under the bed because it sank through the frame. There was a HUGE gap, about 12-14 inches, between where the headboard started and the top of the bed ended, not using a box spring. If we put the box spring under, there would have still been a little gap and you'd be able to see the headboard legs behind the mattress. We ended up taking 2x4's and making our own headboard legs, so the headboard now starts where the mattress stops. It's a pretty bed for the price, but we did have to put a little elbow grease into it to get it to look how we wanted.

I loved the bed when I saw it online. It arrived much sooner than expected. The fabric is a true Parchment color (paint sample with same name matched almost perfectly). The fabric has a shimmer to it and I think looks very sophisticated and romantic. I absolutely LOVE this bed!!! It was simple to put together. The legs of the headboard and frame are black metal and the fabric panels attach to them. The box spring fits nicely inside the frame and panels. With the mattress on top and the satin sh eets and fluffy comforter I purchased, it really is a gorgeous and inviting bed. I couldn't be happier with my purchase!

This bed is very cute. I had to put it together myself. The instructions are horrible. The pictures for the setup don't resemble the exact type of screws you need during the process. Plus on the headboard there are two posts. The posts for some reason have a deep gap. During this process, occasionally the screw would fall in to the deep gap and I had to turn the headboard upside down to remove the screw each time. Before I purchased this bed I did read the reviews and people explained how easy it was for them. In my experience in putting together this bed, I believe you need a lot of patience and maybe an extra pair of hands.

I recently purchased this bed in parchment and I love it! However, as everyone has said the directions are HORRIBLE! So much that I had to contact the manufacturer to explain what hardware goes with what part of the directions because the directions are totally wrong. They did mention that they are aware of how bad the directions are and they are in the process of rewriting new ones. If there was a star rating on the directions alone it would get no stars. After that was figured out I attempted to put it together myself. I did it within a couple of hours. You will have to play with the side boards to get them to align just right at the corners. Also, as soon as I received the bed I immediately Scotch guarded it! You MUST do this if you want to save this from accidents! Especially if you have pets and kids, which I have both. Overall, even with the hassle of assembly I absolutely love this bed and I'm glad I purchased it!

I shopped around for a bed for quite some time before ordering this bed. The bed arrived much faster than I was expecting. It was on my doorstep in two weeks! The bed came in two boxes. One holding the headboard and it's hardware... The other holding the upholstered rails, footboard, and hardware. The boxes were too heavy for me to carry so I had to ask some guys to help bring them up to my room. The fabric is close to the color in the picture but seems a little more of a tan color (really ligh t though). The only issue that I had is that they sent me the wrong size bedframe. The upholstered headboard, rails and footboard were all in the correct size. When I called target.com I was told to call the manufacturer to request the required replacement parts. I called the manufacturer on Monday (as they are closed for the weekends) and they are sending me a brand new frame via UPS. I should have it by Wednesday. Although the bed is not completely assembled, it seems to be a very sturdy, quality piece of furniture. If I feel any different after it's assembled, I'll post again. :)

If you get a lighter color, wash your hands after taking it out of the box. Set up the frame and wash your hands again before putting the upholstered parts together. Great bed. A low profile box spring fits perfect down inside the frame. One thing we did not like about it is the head board supports are exposed. They are black and our bed and sheets are a lighter color. So it stands out a little. Some nights stands next to the bed help.

The bed is beautiful! The parchment color is lovely... it's like a French Vanilla color. The bed is also very sturdy.None of the parts were missing and it was not difficult to put together.My only issue is with myself because the fabric is not a washable fabric and it can become dirty easily.I had to keep washing my hands while setting it up to avoid dirt on the fabric while handling the side rails.

this is a really pretty bed. i am glad i read the reviews about washing your hands after getting it out of the box and before putting it together. they replaced one leg for one of the corners PRONTO when i asked for a new one because the screw would not tighten. that was great service. what i do not like about the bed is that you can see the rails that the headboard is attached to. they are black. there is no other possible way to put the bed together in order to not see them. my mattress does not cover them; i do not see how it would because it would need to be wider. i may cover them in linen which would take about 5 minutes to do. otherwise, it is very pretty and sturdy and my next purchase for one would have been about 400 dollars more. worth the savings.

At first i thought im spending to much money on it but it is def worth it. Im so in love with it. Im having a baby and im not worried about her bumping her head or hurting herself around it. Target didnt disappoint me thanks everyone for the reviews.

Make sure to get a high profile box spring. I read the review that said otherwise and there is a big gap between my mattress and head board. Also one of the pieces was damaged but Skyline Furniture, Maker of bed, replaced it no problem for me. Just make sure you inspect all pieces before putting it together.
