Stunning wreath! A bit pricey, but I decided the delta between what I was willing to pay and the actual price was not significant. Found out after the fact that it's FAUX rosewood, but it's still beautifully done, whatever wood was used. I happened to be online and decided to read the reviews on this item. BOY am I glad I did! I would have used the attached ribbon hanging and potentially had my wreath crashing to floor and breaking. There is no way this wreath can withstand a fall to the g round, and not because it's cheaply made. Not only will the styrofoam most assuredly break, but so will the flowers. I tied several decorative ribbons around the wreath to hang it. Regardless of how lightweight the wreath is, I did not want to chance it falling even with a sturdier anchor pushed into the styrofoam. Looks great with the decorative ribbon "collage" and my wreath is STILL hanging thanks to all the reviews!
This item was awesome looking which is why we purchased it [...]. This is a 100% honest review. This wreath is made of some very cheap grade polystyrene foam and the only way I know it is because it broke into 4 pieces right out of the box. It's that foam that disintegrates and sheds little foam balls all over. The cheap foam ring and the wreath's weight was no match for the cheap metal loop with hanging ribbon that was simply pushed into the foam. For the price, they could have atleast used an actual floral ring made out of high density foam that will hold up for far longer than the 30 seconds I had it out of the package. Heck, they could have simply reinforced it with a cardboard ring hot glued to the back and had a better hook to hold it. This wreath is made completely of materials that will draw moisture and surely mildew without question if it is hung where it can. [...] I am just going to return it and not have a wreath at all. This is very sad as it is a great looking wreath but it just will not hold up on a swinging door let alone a wall or the package it was in.
I love the design of this wreath, and had my eye on it four weeks. I decided to take the plunge and spend [the money] on it. I hung it up and within 1 day the wreath detached from the ribbon and smashed onto the ground in four pieces! [...] I hope Smith and Hawkin gets these reviews so they can fix the problem. Do Not Purchase!!!!!!!!!!! as you will have to go back to the store to return it.
Have had my eye on this wreath for awhile, but waited to buy hoping it would go on sale. I finally caved and paid full price and am glad I did! Have had it for about 3 weeks now and it's held up beautifully so far. It is delicate, the "flowers" are real wood, so you have to be careful. I also bought a clear spray sealant and gave the whole wreath several coats to protect it from the elements (another reviewer mentioned hers got mildew). I definetely recommend that, make sure you get a n indoor/outdoor clear matte spray, give it a few coats and you'll be good to go!
I love the way this wreath looks. I got many compliments on it. However, after a few months of hanging on my front door, it developed mildew. It had black spots all over it that I could not remove. I returned it and bought another and sprayed with a clear coat thinking it would prevent this from happening again, but it did happen again. I don't live in a particularly humid area, so I was very disappointed.
Arrived quickly. Looked just as described in the online description. It is a little thick and won't fit into my "over the door" wreath hanger and there wasn't a hook on the back. I hung on the wall on a nail instead of on a door as I had planned.
When I bought it in the store I was really excited to get it home but now that I have it on the wall it looks really plain. It needs some color now.
The wreath is beautiful, but like one of the other reviews, I had mine up for only 2 days and the wreath detached from the ribbon, fell to the ground and broke into 4 pieces. I would not recommend this product.
I was so tired of the traditional dried/silk flowers on wreaths and was looking for something to hang in my kitchen window, on the inside top half of the window with a cafe curtain on the bottom half. I get compliments on it constantly. No wreath I have had holds up well in the outdoor elements, and I really thought this was too pretty to hang outside. It is well made. The rosettes are densely packed and you cannot see the mounting through any of them. Two things I would point out...it is heavi er than the more "typical" wreaths I have bought in the past, and the back of it it pretty unattractive. Also, it may not be clear from the picture but there are a few small green leaves placed here and there through the rosettes.

At first glance this wreath is beautiful. BUT, It is hard to transport or hang without breaking pieces off. I was also finding pieces broken off after hanging where no one could touch it! I got this wreath as a bridal shower gift in April. It is now July and the wreath just fell and broke into 4 pieces! The only thing left hanging from the hook was the ribbon used to hang it! The inside of the wreath is made of some cheap foam material. Although it is beautiful, it is not worth the money. Esp. after reading multiple other reviews of this same thing happening to others.
