I have loved Sonia Kashuk make-up so decided to give her foundation a try. I have a light to med complexion. This was the closest color. Came home to try and it was too light. Went back to Target, they have a no return p ...
This is one of the worst foundations I've ever used. It's more of a BB/CC cream to begin with not foundation like at all. It cakes, settles in creases and just lays on the skin. I've tried every makeup from the utmost high end to the lowest of drug store brands and this is just a total failure.
I love this foundation. Gives me a nice finish with a slight dewiness, and the shade is great for me. I have light sometimes sensitive skin and this really punches it up, makes it look healthy, helps hides any redness if I have any at the time. I put it on with a sponge. Gives me good coverage, although if i have a blemish i would throw some concealer on that spot and then add another layer of foundation overtop. My skin is combo. Dry in the winter, oily in the summer. In the summer I just use
a blotting pad once in the day and that is that. I just can't get over how the shade and undertones are the perfect amount of yellow for my skin. Beautiful! The color on the package is not true to what it really looks like. I just made an educated guess as I am light but not the lightest so that's why I went with Vanilla (02). If you were more medium I would just go up another shade, as long as the undertones work for you.
I have to say, I have used a very pricey, over 100 dollars, foundation, and loved the luminous, silky finish it gave my skin. I thought it was worth the money because it really enhanced my complexion. I am not spending that kind of money these days on cosmetics. I purchased this foundation on impulse last week and I am really glad I did. What others say here is true. It's difficult to gauge your correct shade from the tube. I debated for quite a few minutes before I finally chose the Cr
eam. Luckily, when I got it home to try it, I found it was exactly the shade I needed. I have a medium skin tone, not too fair, and the yellow-base works well for me. The finish is very similar to that of the expensive brand I used to buy. I used it at the beginning of a very long day and it still looked lovely at the end of the night. There is a luminosity, but there is no glare or glitter-shine here. Soft and natural looking. I think Target would do well to provide testers, if at all possible. Chances are the product would sell even better if people could be sure they are purchasing the right shade. Nice foundation!
1. This stuff has a really strong smell. Do NOT like it! 2. Does not last at all, rubs off easily. 3. Really oily! The only way you could wear this is with a mattifying primer, which I did. Just gross! Do not buy!!
read reviews before i purchased and several said go a shade up because the bottle is darker than it is but i disagree. the bottle was barely darker than the shade i got i bought cream. i originally was thinking buff but decided to go with cream. i have light-medium olive toned skin and i feel it matched really well. i was expecting a bit more luminous, but it does give a nice healthy glow. i really like the coverage and texture as well i usually apply with a brush or sponge. overall i think its
a great product, only thing i might change is the bottle but will definitely continue use.
I'm 43, have T-zone oily, sensitive skin with cheeks that turn pink at the slightest irritation. I've used this foundation for years and am never even tempted to stray. I stipple it on with a sponge and set it with powder... gives a slightly dewy, flawless finish. I always mix colors - for me, vanilla and cream - because the coverage seems to be a little more opaque than using just one color alone. I get compliments from time to time and have had friends ask what foundation I use beca
use they love the finish.
I found this brand while looking for a new summer look and absolutely loved the product. Was shocked at the value I got for my buck, covers well and is long lasting. Had so many compliments on my makeup, I bought a second bottle. However, the pump malfunctioned, making it nearly impossible to get any of the makeup out. At first I thought it may have been just that one bottle, but the next one did the same. I am sad to say that as much as I loved the product, I will no longer purchase since I ca
nnot get to the makeup-feels like throwing my money away
I really enjoyed this foundation! Had a light to medium coverage. Went on smooth. It is not the most camoflauge foundation but the way it illuminates and scatters the light, it makes your complextion look more even and fresh! p.s stays well! GREAT VALUE!!!
I was looking for a good foundation with medium coverage to blend over my sunscreen. The foundations I previously used were looking cakey with the sunscreen. I have oily, sensitive skin with mild eczema and brown spots from the sun. This foundation works for me very well. On my brown spots I use concealer first because this foundation has light coverage. Even though I would prefer it to have a little more coverage, I still really like this foundation. It helps to even out my blotchiness, yet it
looks like I'm not wearing makeup. I also like the fact that I was able to find my shade. I have olive skin and sometimes it's hard to find a foundation that doesn't make my face look pink all over. This foundation matches my color exactly. I highly recommend it.
